iFamCare for Android
The laser cat game lasts about 15 seconds. If you move the Helmet to another outlet in the house connectivity with your app has to be re-established.. It must be plugged in at all times (no battery), and even then it doesn't work. The Help Desk response is that the software isn't developed to that point yet. It is a VERY overpriced, disappointing useless "thing."
I love the camera, it works but the app is crap. Always crashing, every time I open it, it crashes. This is just a review for the app, otherwise I like the product.
It use to work pretty decent but now since the update crashes and screen freezes. Customer service is horrible. Buyer beware.
I have used the camera and the app for about a year. While it has generally worked okay, several new annoyances have become too much to ignore. First, the camera suddenly developed a strange hue. I see no settings anywhere to allow me to attempt to correct this. Now for the app, basically a pile of garbage the whole time. The user experience is often completely counter-intuitive. I loathe having to do anything beyond watching the video feed. The final nail is their input boxes for passwords. Do you use special characters in an attempt to great a more secure password? Don't. For some odd reason the boxes that takes passwords will not allow the input of special characters. Meaning if you have anything other a letter or a number, you have no way of entering the correct password. This is true for the password box when you log in and for the wifi password box during camera setup. I contact support about this several months ago, but obviously the issue is too difficult to fix.
Like others listed here, the app continues to crash and customer support is slow to respond to the issue.
Camera works great. App is crap. Always crashes and never works.
Suddenly stopped working, tried reinstall but still crashes.
You get what you pay for. $60 last 2 weeks of fun.
App works good however I didn't realize my data usage would sky rocket. In addition, needs an alert when someone has accessed your camera. Even though we give other users permissions we should be alerted someone is watching. Overall happy with camera and app would just like an alert added
On Samsung Note 4. Constantly crashes. I get a message that "unfortunately... has stopped" I get it in the middle of calls, it's relentless, and of course it has stopped now, I forced closed it. Still getting message. Finally uninstalled. I have reported it numerous times,no reply. Reported on Web page, now I revised earlier rating to 1 star. There are features of cam. I love, great pic, pan/tilt. Hate that entire screen moves when playing with laser. If the app doesn't work, the camera doesn't work.
Keep getting error report popping up on phone that says.... ifamcare has stopped working... then it asks if i want to report it. So annoying!! Happens everyday like 10 times a day maybe more. Love the camera security but if not fixed gonna return. Says bugs fixed but even after firmware update its been doing this for 6 months. I had a galaxy s4 and just got the s7 and STILL does it. Not worth the hassle.
App crashes constantly. I'm using the Note5 but based on the other comments it doesn't seem like a device compatibility issue.
Had to put in a weak password to access the camera due to the app not accepting special characters. App force closes and throws off warning on a constant basis on the S7. Functionality is good. Would love to see app improvements.
I installed this on my Note 5 and now on my Note 7. The app crashes on both devices constantly. The camera itself is great but the app needs work for Android devices. The app works great on my dad's iphone.
The app works as advertised. The camera controls work nicely. My problem is with the app running all the time (in background) and crashing constantly.
no support. this company needs to get itself together or the market will crush it.
The app is simple in it's setup, which would be great, except there's no explanation as to what the different buttons do or what certain things mean; so you have to figure it out on your own. My main complaint is that anytime the app is closed, even if I've logged out first, I get a CONSTANT ERROR message saying the app has stopped working, literally every five minutes. This notification interrupts anything I'm doing on my phone at that time, forcing me to hit "OK" or to send a report! Unbearably annoying!
I wish there was a longer setting to allow the laser options to be customized but otherwise great so far. Girlfriend loves to check on and play with her cat while at work and vacation.
App Keeps crashing
I love this app for the simple fact I can play with pets when I'm away from home!
It works for its purpose, but for some reason it runs in the background making the phone slow and crashing periodically. Needs work.
Love the tool hate the app. When i have to close the crash prompt everytime I pick up my phone i start to wonder why bother.
App keeps stopping. What a waste of money buying the camera.
Constantly crashes on Android
Unreliable
Nice
The app doesn't let user to use wifi password over 16 characters which is a joke! Additional drawback for the version is that it doesn't support popular tablets such us samsung galaxy note 10.1. The beta did.
Force crashes a lot and camera viewing is a little sluggish.
Alright, after actually using the app after syncing, it works great! Load times are a bit annoying, but that might be my crappy internet. The laser is hilarious with our cat and the image on the whole looks amazing. Tech support got to my email within a couple of hours. .. Original: Seriously?!?!? How many times will I need to retry this whole connecting thing?!?!? Seriously? I've tried about seven now... And now over ten with three devices... And we just verified we are on the correct frequency....
iFamCare says the app was made for phones, but after pulling a TitaniumBackup of it the app is working fine on four different tablets I own! When you get it going, just touching continuously doesn't keep moving the camera, so moving is pretty slow. There is an "alert" setup, but alerts only work when the app is running. And not just "running" in Application Manager, but full-on-screen running! What this means is that the "brains" are entirely IN YOUR PHONE. If the app isn't running, this camera does nothing! There are (I assume) "air quality" indicators on the screen with three green dots, but no clue what they mean, or what you would know if you saw only ONE dot, or TWO. This is a worthy product, but not to be confused with an "IP security cam". It doesn't FTP, or cloud store, so presumably if a "bad guy" breaks in and steals this thing, you have nothing, even if you had the app running during the intrusion - it's a novelty / convenience cam. It may improve over time, but this model is unlikely to have the necessary internal components to work autonomously ever.

This is a terrible company that makes terrible products. Never again will I use iBaby products. After this latest round of crashes and the subsequent update that turned my charging phone into a Chinese advertisement, this device is going to be torched and my account wiped immediately. They always have connection issues, are bandwidth hogs, and I just plain don't trust them. Do yourself a favor and use another product from a more scrupulous company.
