About CICC
The California Israel Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is a not-for-profit, industry-supported organization dedicated to promoting and strengthening thought leadership, business, investment, entrepreneurship, technology and trade relations between the business communities of California and Israel. With its wide and dynamic network of over 10,000 entrepreneurs, companies, business executives, investors and service providers, CICC provides a networking platform for joint venture programs between the two communities.
Through networking events, personalized introductions, mentorship programs, investment forums, roundtables, educational seminars and delegations, CICC contributes to a stronger business and commercial alliance between California and Israel.
One of CICC’s activities is guiding and assisting Israeli companies in the different stages of their business life cycle who seek to expand their business in the US. Thus far, CICC has partnered with Silicon Valley giants such as Intel, Google, Facebook, Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, EMC, PayPal, SAP, to name a few. CICC also has showcased and launched hundreds of Israeli technologies, as well as
assisted US investors and technology giants in identifying unique ventures and collaborating with partners in Israel.
CICC focuses on four different verticals: MedTech, Big Data; SaaS & Cloud, Cyber Security and Mobile & Internet. For each of those areas, CICC established committees consisting of CICC members – situated both in Israel and California. These members are actively involved and leverage their expertise to forge closer business ties between California and Israel.
The committees meet on a regular basis throughout the year and each committee develops comprehensive programs and activities focussing on the latest trends and challenges. The Innovative technology companies that are CICC members enjoy the value, service, expertise and benefits of being part of each committee.
CICC has been honored with the 2010 “Israel in Our Lives” award for efforts to strengthen business relations between the two vital economies.
