Carly for Mercedes

The app, even in pro version which i paid for, did not pick up all diagnostic fault codes. This was verified by using another diagnostic tool which then helped isolate the problem. Improvement is needed on the carly app, particularly if you want people to pay for it, as it is currently below standard

Not happy paid for the app and done the same for my bmw as it is ment to work for both and it is shocking doesn't do what it says

This app is not as versatile as MB STAR diagnostic tools dealers use, but it does read out and clear faults, and offers some programming function. If you own a Mercedes Benz with an intention of keeping, then this app will save you a lot of time and money every time a check engine light comes on.

Buggy version 8. Keep checking license with "ok" remarks on screen. Do enable "Additional OBD Diag" if you unable to connect the bluetooth to the software in setting menu

I've tried this app with popular Bluetooth obd2 adapter and it worked for 2 benzes in subject. I used only lite version, but first diagnostic you do with it could be sent to Carly support and they will reply with full decrypted diagnostics report. So I did that and got my reports. I might buy Pro version if scan would be required again.

Lite version = lie version, can't even see faults..

Is there going to be support for W210?

One of the best I've see, really comprehensive scanning for standard obd2 interface, no issues with the app found so far. Will purchase licence soon.

Moto g gen 1. Just black screen. Also crashes play services.

Before Purchasing the pro version, my Elm327 BT OBD was scanning well but after purchasing the pro version, the app scans all the ECU with no response for any of the ECUs.

I have a W164 ML320CDi and this app scans most of the car's ECUs using a generic ELM327 dongle. It correctly identified any engine fault I have had unlike Torque, which gave incorrect information. I am a mechanic by trade and would recommend this app to anyone with a Mercedes and likes to do there own repairs. The engine needs to be running to scan successfully.The app is well worth the money.

Found extra codes that weren't found using OBD-II. Took my Mercedes GLK to the dealer and they confirmed that there was a sensor issue that wasn't causing a check engine light, but should to be repaired.

It has done well so far. I've tried it on w203,204,169,245,164,211 and 209. If only it could do cars older than 2005 then I'd give a 5

While this app does in fact offer a few capabilities that others don't, unless you pay for a license, this will be a useless app. How much for license? After disclosing I am in the U.S., I asked the developer. 1st response I received, explained that prices do vary by country then he offered the prices for the EU in Euros! I asked again, he never answered! Instead, he offered that since I have scanned the codes, that I should clear them to see if they return. But I can only clear them if I paid for license!!

And because the live data is extreme bad absolute useless live data??? Such an expensive app + is useless unless u also buy the Bluteetooth dongle wich also isn't shown anywhere even worser is all through Amazon???? There are plenty if really good apps if us what u want but is differently not the right way to diagnose a car lol please come on and what's up with the extreme high prices? Not to mention is this OBD? SO it does not support OBD II / OEBD? I'm confused where is the dongle? ?

Disappointed it's not really as good as others like Torque. Was expecting some extended support for Mercedes and had to blow dust off my old Bluetooth adapter to test it.

Carly appears to be a very sophisticated app for compatible vehicles. Unfortunately my AMG is not one of them as there is no engine data nor Push despite purchasing the Gen 2 adapter and full licence. Carly have been very helpful and assured me they are working on a fix.

Works again with updated version. Previous version did not work for some reason. Back to normal - thanks!

Only app I have found to do proper diagnostics on my Merc (W211 2003). Demo is nice that it will tell you the faults if you send them the log via a reply email. I used a cheap Chinese ODB Bluetooth adapter.

I need to use usb obd sensor to connect to my head unit. This app doesn't have the capability.

This app does so much more than a typical obdIi app. It's required if u work on your mercedes. Very helpful. Thanks!

How can i install the app on a new phone , because i lost my last phone and google play store dosent allow me to transfer this app

Mileage info not able to display in 'Used car check' after upgrade fr v6.00 to v6.01 & v6.02. Overall, for simple check engine light diagnostic generic torque is fast & simple to use.For more comprehensive diag, this software is gd to use however it takes more longer,sometimes real long,ie more thn 30min

A lot of crash in the app, i cant do any diagnostic at all the app stop working. I reinstall it and still same problem. I have lenovo vibe z2 pro with android 5.0.2

Identified a spark plug coil that was misfiring. Was able to save a bundle replacing the part on my own and clearing the error codes. Excellent app!

This app goes far beyond the cheap OBD scanner apps and devices you can buy. Works with the bluetooth diagnostic dongle I had already and scanned all 24 controllers in my W204 C320. Don't judge it until you get it working and buy the license. Excellent online support; the developers are knowledgeable, helpful and enthusiastic. I am sure also the app will improve further with updates.

Why does this app now upload my eMail address to Google? This just started with the latest version as per the Clueful privacy app I use to monitor all app installs & updates.

I installed almost all OBD apps to check my Mercedes ...all of them were okay but very general. This app is difinitly dedicated for MB ..it was showing me on my car screen ..diegnous and also giving me a lot of info about my car. I hope the complete version will give us a good and clear report becouse till now the reports produced is not clear and also the fault codes are not clear ...but again it is a great apps and wish the team will be resonable in pricing ..great efforts team
