Official Drudge Report App

Never posted any reviews. I read Drudge every day. There are adds and there is invasion. This app has became a trash distributor. It brings add over the entire screen, blocking content, and won't even let you close it or go back to an article. There are many "drudge" apps. This one is being uninstalled.

Love the drudge report but the app has become unusable. Pop up ads, virus alerts and reloads to frequently. Need to fix the device back button. It brings you all the way back to the home screen. Deleting and using the web until fixed.

Hate this app. The way too frequent refreshing and the ads and the can't use back button most of the time. Read 2 or 3 articles and have to close it cause it's too much work to use.

Clearly the drudge app is being attacked by a virus. The app continually is taken over by some fake anti-virus message. Definitely need an upgrade on how user-friendly the app is and its cyber security. Very badly designed app as well: constantly refreshing so you lose the article you're reading if you pause for more than a moment and it constantly freezes up. Otherwise I love the Drudge report itself!

Something wrong with this app. Ads take over and say virus or won a prize. Annoying. Finding different Drudge app.

You can browse for about 5 seconds before a pop-up blocks the whole screen and demands you download an Antivirus. It is disguised as a Google message but it's clearly fake. No way out of it other than to shut down and restart the app and hope you can get another 5 seconds in. Disgraceful.

In the past, the constant refreshing was annoying, but the new pop ups are locking up my phone. Unacceptable! I will just access Drudge through my Internet app. Uninstalling

This used to be a useful app. But now I get fake "you have four virus [sic]" spam every day. Uninstalling now. So disappointing.

My phone doesn't have a virus...I don't mind some ads to make it worth Matt Drudges time, but it's too much.

Every time I open the app I get something saying my phone has a virus and I have 2 minutes to get rid of it. I know its fake, but wtf.

I would like this app more but here lately when I click on a topic it wont open! I'm quite disheartened!

I'm no app pro, so I'm unsure of the constraints you might working under, but the functionality of the app is terrible. Refreshes when not needed, returns back when not needed, and slow.

Yet another conservative page that's been bought out by Trump. It's a shame, because it used to be a respectable news source.

Use to be OK app to read Drudge. Just sucks now. Ads Pop up all the time, page refreshes constantly. Worse Back button design ever. Developers need to go back and re-do this train wreck.

Cannot get to the DrudgeReport screen. As soon as I get there it goes to a Google Play ad for Uber and the back button won't take me back. The home button will go to the home page but only momentarily before jamming you back to the Uber ad. Please fix this.

So I get a brand new phone and install Drudge as the first and only app. And instantly I start getting the chrome 13 virus bullshit. Fix your crap Matt!!! I'm uninstalling for now.

What the f**k is the deal with the take over ads?!? Who the f**k thought this was a good idea? Is this how you guys do business? Jesus Christ, I just want to read your stories. Why would you put this s**t between me and your site?

Pop up ads cover the entire screen every few seconds and there is no way to close them without exiting the app. Used to love this app but but will never use it again.

I been checking the app out after seeing all the 1 star ratings. They are BS, surely politically motivated. This is a great app and it has links to 100 news sites so you can check out what the other sites are saying. Yes there is a link to Fox news, but also CNN, Huffington post, all types of news sites, left or right and independent news sites. Many alternative news sites. GREAT APP, try it, and you won't see pop up ads, none of the other stuff people write about the app, they just haters,

It takes forever to load the site and when you finally manage to get it loaded it refreshes every 30 seconds. It didn't used to refresh this quickly in the past. This app is turning to crap. I'm running on a 15 megabits per second internet and it still takes forever to load and it takes forever to refresh interrupting every 30 seconds. Moving to an alternative reader that doesn't refresh as often. If I wanted to refresh it every 30 seconds, I can hit the refresh button. You need to disable auto refresh.

Refreshes too frequently, interrupting reading. But biggest issue is how it always seems to get a fake virus pop-up that is so frequent, you can barely even begin to read headlines.

I don't know what kind of crack the other reviewers are smoking. Perhaps they are liberals trying to bring down a fine application. I have it installed on my Samsung Galaxy S6 and the only add on the page is at the very top just like on the website. I am getting no warnings no invasive pop ups no adds or any other issues. I don't know what everyone is complaining about they have to be fake complaints from very bitter people, who can't stand an opposing viewpoint.

Sorry, I have to unistall this as within 2 minutes after installing it. Please stop the SPAM ATTACK. I Couldn't access Drudge it was that bad, and I love Drudge.

Too many redirects to ads and other advertising websites. The app is useless now, constantly reloading and redirecting. This use to be a great app!

Love Drudge. Hate this app right now. For the past week the same popup ad comes up shortly after startup, completely blocking the screen. There is no way to dismiss or report the ad in-app. Will try a different app.

A pop up for anti virus software implies Google supports this ad. Hey Google are you going to allow these guys to get away with that?

First, I love Drudge. But it seems this ap is chock full of ads that are beyond annoying. Going to try another Drudge ap to see if I can find one better.

App is buggy. Won't even open on my Motorola Droid Maxx after last update! When app closes, instead of reopening where app closed, it reopens at home screen. Very annoying!

I get full screen virus warning ads that prevent me from reading the articles, the app often blanks out and reloads, and is very downloading even with wi fi on a phone with 3 g ram and no other open apps. Uninstalled.

Between the hijacking pop ups and page refreshing every 2 minutes this app is total crap. You can't even read the headlines before the page refreshes or an ad hijacks your phone and doesn't allow you to go back to news page. Best news source, worst app now.

I use this on the laptop and it's fine, but the app sucks. It takes forever to load and reload and ads are terrible. I have quit using it.

Simplicity of design might work for the website, but a mobile app demands a little more design work. This app doesn't even save the story you are reading if you have to minimize the app. It always takes you back to the Drudge Report page. I am going to try one of the other Drudge apps and see how they work. It won't be hard to beat this official one. I think Matt Drudge is great, but he should truly be ashamed of this half-assed attempt at an app. Surely he can do better, his readers deserve it.

The application is a complete crap, crashes very often, reloads whenever it likes. ....I used 10% battery trying to open an article from drudge without success. ... very frustrating. ..do not recommend!

Geez, I can't read the freaking stories for the constant interruptions from ads and that God Forsaken Virus Crap. I seriously spent 10 mins in the app just now and I kept a record, 8:53 spent fighting to clear ads and 1:07 actually getting a story open and Bam!!#! Ad interruption.. Sorry Drudge, you gotta go. My Blood Pressure can't take it and my kids are hearing dad say words they have never heard, and they are in college. Thanks for the memories.....

I've been using this app a long time now but recently I've noticed more and more difficulties using the app. Upon entering the app and getting to the main screen, I am immediately redirected to an ad that I can't close. After exiting the app and re-entering I am taken back to that ad. I can't read any of the articles anymore because of this. Hence, this app is currently unusable, please fix!
