Chromatic Pitch Pipe Pro for Android
Would be great if I could get to the settings. So I kinda js paid 3 bucks for absolutely nothing!
How can I access the settings on an S7 Edge?
I tried several. Although this app looks like an actual pitch pipe, it is still the most useful of the lot. (Usually, an app that attempts to imitate the look and feel of a real-world tool fails to take advantage of the usefulness of a portable touch-screen tool, as evidenced by the plethora of on-screen typing keyboards that look like real-world keyboards and are thus klunky to use).
Is there a fix for getting to the pitchpipe settings on the Samsung Note 5. Settings cannot be accessed on the note 5. Need an icon on screen to get to settings. I need F to F scale for barbershop music. How do I add file to get settings customized? Great app otherwise. Worked great on S3 and S5. Now I have a Note 5. There is not a way to get to the settings again.
You can not customize this app like it is being advertised. I want my money back.
I can't change settings. I want F to F.
This was a good app on my old Galaxie s3 but when I upgraded to the S5 Neo I lost access to the settings. The app needs to be upgraded to provide in-app settings access.
Works great ... but with the upgrade to KitKat 4.4.4 on my Galaxy S5 I can't access the Settings Menu. That Key on the phone was remapped to show recent apps.

I was hoping the reed organ option would sound more like a normal pitch pipe - it does somewhat, but still sounds obviously computer-generated. It does look like a real pitch pipe (the only app so far that does, AFAIK), for the nostalgic. However, for raw functionality you could probably do better with one of the many tuner apps out there, or for more realistic sound, just record a real pitch pipe into mp3 or wav files.
It's a good start and it works for my needs. A few things are needed to make it perfect. It needs to be able to override the lockout screen so I can just have it on screen for any length of time while I need it in use. Second if it could replicate an actual Chromatic Pitch Pipe sound that is simple and quick but clean it would be a perfect app. The reed option is quite painful to use.
You shouldn't need more than this With this app running as its designed to, if you're still not satisfied tuning your instrument with it, then either keep practicing (it gets easy with enough training), or try playing a game app instead.

This works as a pitch pipe, and was what I used for a while, but it's really quirky. The empty box that doesn't go away when you're not listening to triads is really unprofessional looking. But the biggest issue I have with it, and why it is not my "go to" pitch pipe app (that is Realistic Pitch Pipe, I think it's called) is because of stability. Sometimes I will go to make a pitch with this app -- I thought -- still hanging open, but instead I have to click through a splash screen. Not a major annoyance, but to avoid that happening while you're standing at the front of a group waiting on you, it's worth it to me to use something that I feel I can count on to just "wake up and use" when I need it.
