Chromatic Pitch Pipe (free)

On Galaxy S7 edge, I cannot tap a note repeatedly more than once, even after locking the screen or switching apps. There are no settings available either. Neither of these problems existed before an update, whether it was the Samsung software update of 3/17 or this app's update, I'm not positive. But one thing has always been dissatisfying: it takes 7 seconds to open the app.

After update can't play the same pitch Twice, and it's not a good idea. So I'm deactivating. Friends this app is no more helpful so don't download.

I've had this app for years, but for some reason it recently has been glitching. You can't play one note repeatedly, and the settings function seemingly disappeared.

Wish it would have worked as well on S8 as it did on S5. Great on S5 lousy on S8! Intermittent sound on S8.

It used to be good but now I can not hit any pitch 2x. I always have to hit a different one in between.

Can't hit the same note twice when running on nougat 7.0, but it does work on marshmellow. FIX it!

Works fine as long as you don't need to use the same pitch consecutively. Once you play a note, that note won't sound again until you play another note

A handy and simple pitch reference but.... I'm not tempted by 'pro' version - extending the note length option to max still isn't long enough, the decay on the piano samples is pretty nasty and the clipping blip at the end of the note as the sample is cut gets really annoying

For the nostalgic who just want something that looks like a real pitch pipe, this is it (note the free version only comes in red). However, for raw functionality, see one of the many tuner apps out there. And the sound still sounds computer-generated; for realistic sound you'd do better just recording a pitch pipe into mp3 or wav files.

Sound isn't even as "electronic" as you'd think. Pretty neutral, pleasant sound.

Functionality is fine, but it really needs to sound like a real pipe. Also should play as long as you press instead of a fixed time.

It could be that the terms are reasonable. I just can't blow the time necessary to read them for something as simple as a pitch pipe.
