Lock Timer Lite

Lock Timer temporarily disables your lock screen and security lock for the time period you choose. A timer then automatically relocks the device when the defined time period has run out.

Lock Timer is especially useful those shorter time periods when your device has to be more frequently used and more quickly accessible, but you still don't want to compromise the long term security. For example when:

- not wanting to be bothered with the screen lock in a secure location.
- using your device for taking notes and audio recording etc.
- recurrently needing fastest possible access to the camera during an activity.
- using navigation/map applications.
- using sport applications.
- recurrently needing access to articles, manuals, cooking applications etc etc
- giving other people access to your phone for a limited time.

The unlock process takes less than two seconds and involves two quick and simple clicks (provided the app-icon is placed on your home screen): Open the application -> click one of the predefined unlock alternatives -> and the interface will auto close back to your home screen. Lock Timer then ensures that there are no risk of forgetting, or being to lacy, to relock the device. And even if the device were to be left, lost or stolen during the unlock time it would soon become relocked again.

Lock Timer is carefully designed to ensure no measurable impact on battery consumption.

LITE OR FULL VERSION?

- The Lite version provides full functionality but less options, and should present a valuable complement to any android phone. It is also recommended that you try the Lite version before installing the Full version to ensure full compatibility with your device.

- The Full version enables more lock delay alternatives and the possibility to customize the wake up vibration.

IMPORTANT! Uninstall the Lite version before using the Full version. They will not work well together.


IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION!

- Lock Timer needs Administrator Privileges to be able to relock your device while it is in sleep mode.(A link to to the Device Administrators page in phone settings will be shown at first run.) When uninstalling Lock Timer you have to disable the same administrator privileges.

- Some devices have to be rebooted after installation for full app functionality and reliability

- A small number of devices use very different locking mechanisms, preventing this application from unlocking them.(PLEASE! report phone model and Android / rom version etc if you encounter compatibility problems)

- Also remember to uninstall the Lite version before using the Full version! They will not work well together!
