PUT SOME SPACE between the function keys and the piano keys, please!!!!! It is way too easy to hit a piano key when trying to hit a function key. This is the only app on android which has both note duration and a score for MIDI export. MIDI import would be great. My Piano app is awesome but you can't see the notes without a score program such as MIDI Sheet Music. Yes, the editing could be better. I had to keep pushing buttons to figure out how to get Melorandum to start recording. That is frustrating and something I have to do every time. It crashes a lot on my droid after the latest update. Android market should have a way to roll back to the previous version, which was MUCH MORE STABLE on droid. That said, most apps assume a quarter note. You MUST manually change the note duration. The best thing about Melorandum is the note value is based on how long you depress the piano key. Once I have the melody, I export to MIDI Sheet Music (android app) and print the score. Then using Anvil Studio or Sekaiju MIDI, I can embellish the track with other instruments. This is the only app I have found which allows me to record a musical idea exactly as it plays in my head!!

I tried several score processors. I kept this one. I learned all the features in three experiments. Intuitive! Post some contact info and I shall gladly rewrite the English manual for you.

The documentation is negligible, but the interface is workable. Editing is an interesting experience, but needs an insert option. It would be really nice to have an option for narrower keys for use on the 10" class tablets (or for stylus use on smaller ones). This really isn't for the non-musician, but it's good enough for getting a single line of music played accurately enough. It also could use an instrument selection option. Piano, while the standard, is a poor choice for those who compose for wind or strings.

Neither tool nor toy. Cumbersome editing. Virtual keyboard as input is a misconception. No way to write chords. Uninstalling.

Great interface, it could use a better help file. I am stumbling through edits and someone mentioned chord entry which I can't figure out.

A couple improvement ideas. 1. Have a way to convert mid to melorandum song (so you can continue to edit them in other software on PC and load them back) 2. Have the note change color instead of a orange line. (Seeing it better as it scrolls) 3. Add different tracks and instruments. In general, it is a great program for music composer on the goes. There doesn't seem to be a good one available. I think if the improvements were made additionally, it'll be a great product to use for musician on the go.
