This utility is to lock the device with passcode (password or pin) using just a single click (widget) and once after you unlock it the passcode is automatically removed so you do not have to unlock every time with passcode.

This utility is basically for those who do not always like to keep their device passocode protected and want to unlock it quickly.
Scenario:
I do not like to type a code to unlock my phone every time!
So the problem I face is I leave my phone temporarily on my work desk (or somewhere) where it may be picked up and used by somebody I do not intend to show the phone. So when I’m in the office and sitting on my desk I don’t want to keep a passcode but when I get up to make tea or go to a meeting, I just want to press a button that will automatically set a password. Same applies if I am around kids and I just quickly want to have a passcode lock at once!
Please use InstantLock widget to have 1-click facility!
First run of the app will set default code as: 4321 and you need to allow App the device administrator permissions to automatically lock & unlock your device:
-Reset Password
-Force Lock
Please note special un-installation step - Go to:
Android Settings –> Security –> Device Administrators => Un-tick "InstantLock"
After that uninstall the app as you usually do it.
Notice:
- If you forget your password, this App cannot recover it.
- You can reset password using Google Account services, set up your device for "auto locate" before hand so that google can locate it and reset the password.
- You may have to reset factory settings if you forget your password.
- We also recommend the App: "Android Lost" since we find it very useful.

Doesnt require you to confirm old code before you change code. So if you dont lock it and someone opens it, they can set any code. Also factory reset after you fail 10 times? What if 10 "pocket attempts"?

It's a grew app that I use a lot but on galaxy s3 I can't seem to disable it without completely uninstalling it. Removing device administrator causes it to constantly try to take over the lock system if I use any other locking method like the default android locks. Would be nice if there was a way to disable it without uninstalling temporarily.

But apps should be protected. So that no one edit your password. And there should be options in weiget of changing logo si no one will know what's the apps for.

Loved it now I can lock my phone instantly from kids and annoying people loved it cuz I don't usually use screen lock but sometimes people come to your home snoop around you know

Due to recent Android updates changing security policies I had to find a new app to toggle on/off the lockscreen for easy access at home, and still maintain security away from home. This app does this perfectly, providing a password locked screen at a click of a button. NOTE: Only downside I noticed was that a friend or someone else could easily find this app and lock you out of your own device which is an inconvenience. However, to remedy this I suggest an applocker to password protect this app to avoid unwanted access.

The widget gets suspended in a few hours, but it seems to be android bug and not the app's.

Work's! buT found an important problem! Anyone can go into the App and enter a New passcode, confirm and set it, without needing to enter the Old Passcode to do so! Leaving the owner locked out possibly!!! Useless unless fixed...

Does exactly what it is supposed to. Finally found something that fits my needs. I would give this 5 stars if this had a shortcut to enable the lock. I use swipe pad and would love to see a shortcut that I can just slide to and have it enable. :)
