* Have you ever wanted to know if a message was short and boring, or LONG AND EXCITING!!!!!
* Do you hate being bothered by annoying one word answers?

Mumble! is a revolutionary new vibrating notification app for SMS and instant messages. It's the first and only app that allows you to have a sense of the emotion, content, length, and importance of the messages you receive before reading them. Mumble! gives you an experience unlike anything else on the planet.

Works great and developer is all over it. If you have questions or comments he's on top of them.
This new update makes whatever app I'm in close when I get a text, it's really obnoxious. Will change my rating when it gets fixed.
Would you consider adding more languages in the near future?
I had high hopes for this app but I can't even enable the app. In Accessibility, when I try to press OK to enable it, nothing happens. The cancel button right beside OK works, but OK does nothing. UPDATE: I rebooted and reinstalled, but still had no luck enabling the app. Now today (several days later) I tried again and was successful. I have no idea why it didn't work before, I didn't change anything on the phone.
I recently updated to Lollipop and Mumble! is no longer working. It just doesn't vibrate on notifications. Please look into the problem.
great idea unfortunately doesn't work every time
Great app with a good amount of customization. It does pop up randomly though, which gets annoying.
Seemed like a cool app, but every time I try to edit the settings, it disregards anything I do and vibrates away even though I changed it to be silent when I silence my phone. Uninstalling. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Reply (since I'm not sure how to actually respond): Every time I change a setting, it just reverts back. I installed it right before a meeting and turned off all the options for the buzzes, and turned off 'Override Phone's Mute' button, but it came back on and kept buzzing whenever I got a text--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply2: I did restart my phone and now the settings are actually saving! What an odd glitch. But now I've stopped receiving texts for today so I can't even tinker with the settings. Changed my review score for now
This is a great idea and I am so happy to have given it a try. Amazing smart vibration for text messages. This really covers all I can think of when it comes to customizing notifications. Used it for just 15 minutes and now want the full version. Totally worth it! _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Edit:8-19-2014: I am currently using a Nexus 4 and android 4.4.4 I received a call and when the screen lit up it had some other notification over the name, when I tried to dismiss the mumble popup instead selected it and then the phone allowed me to unlock the screen only taking me to the app the popup was for. the back, home, and recent buttons were missing and i could not do anything in the app. The phone continued to ring and i had a phone call notification on top of the screen but swiping down did not bring the screen down. My phone was like this for the entire second half of the phone call and then became responsive when it ended.
This app is really awesome and intuitive. I haven't paid for a single app since I got a smartphone, but this is going to be the first one I buy. One thing I would like is for the vibrations to be shorter and faster per word. My phone will vibrate for an entire 5 or more seconds for a medium length text, and that's a little overkill for me. Setting it to vibrate every 2 words fixes it, but I would rather it just vibrate faster instead of skip every other word. Perfectly executed idea otherwise!
My phone was never able to modify the vibrations, until this app came out! Now I know what kinds of messages I'm getting before I even look at my phone. This is an awesome app!
Giving my fellow Reddit user 5 stars for creating a really great app. I love the concept and it took me about 10 seconds to figure it out. Another minute to set it up how I like. I also appreciate the welcoming of feedback and support. Keep up the great work.
Great app!!! So creative and useful!! Easily one of the best apps on the market!! I highly recommend it.
Great app with a good amount of customization. It does pop up randomly though, which gets annoying.
Just don't follow setup instructions for stock messager. Keep vibrate ON in notification settings.
This app is small, simple, awesome. The perfect example of an app that just makes the Android experience a little better. I use it with Textra and my sms experience is at an all time high.
Good
Save you getting your phone out of the pocket :)
Awesome Idea!
It works amazingly. Does exactly what it says, and works with all messengers, which is nice. However, I wish there was a way to get just a single short vibrate when the screen is on, because sometimes I miss notifications while gaming or watching videos. And kik doesn't even show a banner for their notifications . all in all, great app. Nexus 5.
I didn't even change any settings. It just doesn't work to begin with.
The interface flash for 0.1 second when I turn on my phone
Save you getting your phone out of the pocket :)
So good!
Super helpful! I know how quick I need to read a text from how long it buzzed now
love this app already. so useful, and I never even realized I was missing such a feature in my life. must have.
"Mumble was killed because of how much memory it used". Every text would auto direct me to my home screen rather than allowing me to stay on my desired app.
I've gotten accustomed to this app helping me filter the many alerts I get. The Developer fixed my earlier nitpicks too. This app is such a neato idea. I get text alerts from automated systems and they're readily identifiable with mumble. How about text to Morse code mumbling? :)
Its a cool app and I'd really like to keep it but every time someone sends me a text, it brings me to my home screen
Really awesome app! Unfortunately though, I use GoSMS, and it appears that they feel that their app is so important that it should block all other text-related apps :( Oh well, still an amazing app with an awesome idea! Hope you go far with it!
Very cool app, great idea perfectly executed!
A great idea, now a must have app.
The developer does a great job listening and accommodating to any problems or tips. Great app, very useful
A good idea and a fully functional app, I am quite enjoying the advantages of having it installed. Thanks for creating it. Edit: I've dropped it to four stars, as I'm currently having app closure issues on my S4, but it's still an excellent app.
I'm also having the issue where it will exit my current open app. I still want it to vibrate as normal when I'm using the phone, so I don't want to use the deactivate option. Otherwise I love it! Verizon galaxy s4 for reference Edit: the background apps point make perfect sense, that is absolutely when it happens. Btw I found this from Reddit, thanks for posting there!
Let me be clear, this is a great app. But I felt like my initial impression was negative for the following reason. I installed it but waited to set it up because the instructions screen has so much content. It turns out to be one step! The rest of the 'instructions' are wordy explanations of the settings and aren't instructions at all. I'd move those to accordion ui under each setting in the settings screen where they'd be handy to reference.
I like it but it's it really safe? It worries me, I need a guarantee or something
Why not take it to the next level and put in Morse code mode, so that it spells out the words in morse using vibrations?
Since it doesn't support ninja sms , I can't use it so sadly enough i have to uninstall but great job on this app !

Why would I want to take up space on my phone and run down my battery with a app that claims to be sending Morse code when all its doing is vibrating and had nothing to do with Moores code (WC) my phone will already vibrate when I get a massage and I don't need a app draining my battery or taking up space get real dudes
