Interval Timer - HIIT Tabata for Android
This has been my favorite Interval timer. It makes setting up and performing my workout effortless. I love the way it looks as well as the sound options. I only noticed a problem recently when I tried using it with no music. As long as there is music playing or the screen is on the sound alerts work. With screen off and no music there is no sound and the round doesn't complete until I turn the screen on again. Not a problem most of the time but it means I have to have a second Interval app for when it is.
I was looking for timer with variable work time in one round, no chance only your Apk has this option :D great. Just a suggestion for add link to play music it's gonna be awesome
Awesome. I have two problems though. I don't like the voice feedback and disable it. The sound that is played at the end of an interval doesn't get played so when the entire workout is finished, the app is silent. If I'm during an interval and I go to the workouts and select another interval, it should give me a warning asking me if I want to stop the current interval. There's no history either so I can't track my improvement.
Works great for exercise and other things if you change the labels and it looks beautiful. I don't like ads so I wish I could pay to get rid of them. Also being able to control it from the notification shade would be nice.
Great app with the most important features. There's still a lot of improvements and quality of life things it can have. One I was thinking of was folders so we can separate workouts between parts of the body, warmups, stretching, equipment, etc.
I use it to time my boxing sessions, can do all my workouts and rounds with a single counter without playing around the settings and resetting between exercises.... Highly recommended and I would pay for a copy without ads (to be clear the ads are non intrusive and only shows in the workouts menu)
It truly needs the ability to copy intervals & maybe even complete workouts. Otherwise, with some improvising & and a LOT of my time, im able to make it dew what it dew Baybay! Look into that tho devs
The UI is very simple. Very easy to set any kind of interval workout. Very usefull. I use it for HIIT workouts and Interval Training for runner. Thank you very much.
It's really good you can programme your workouts with each individual exercise within the workout. It would be AWESOME and a 6 stars if it had Gear fit2 support. Good job anyway
Someone recommended this app to me and I was not disappointed. I've used it countless times to work out ,is great at its job.
But the ads are disturbing. Is there a pro version?
Everytime I tap the button with the three dots in it, it says settings and I click on settings and it says "unfortunately this app has stopped".I don't know if it's my phone or the app but plz fix but I love it great app
Very good app. Nice interface. But few things missing.. 1. Statistics, 2. Cycles, 3. Backup & restore... etc
I use this for both treadmill and bicycle/trainer training sessions and it works great. One issue I have noted is that once I created my 7th workout, I found I couldn't edit it because the floating "+" was in the way, so I made one more to allow scrolling. Would be nice to be able to copy a workout so that it can be tweaked.
Design is great and it has everything except cycles. There are rounds but being able to have 3 cycles of 5 rounds for example would be very helpful. I like to press start once and not touch my phone while working out. A feature for tracking completed workouts individually would be nice too but not necessary. Great app otherwise!
I have to say I've tried other interval training apps and even though they were good, they're not the best. This app is the best. What makes it stand out is the simple to use UI, the aesthically pleasing layout, and this is the important, it saves your workouts. The developer needs to be given some mad props for creating an excellent app.
But it's missing two features from making it irreplaceable. Cloud sync or backup, and an option to make an interval "click to continue" for repetition based intervals as opposed to just the time based intervals you have now.
Simple and effective: the features works totally fine, and the design is gorgeous. Why 3 stars then? Because I want more :D. I'll change this grade to 5 stars when the following features are implemented: - programs: ability to group workouts within programs, with a rest interval between workouts for example, + warmup time. Right now I have a single workout with my whole program in it (which took me like 10mn to make, because it lacks... - copy: ability to copy an exercise to the end of the workout. Wouldn't be needed if there was a `program` thing actually, thanks to the `round` feature (which is great - but which I can't exploit to its full capacity because of the lack of `programs`) - as said in another comment, import/export/send to friend; with a basic JSON serialization it shouldn't be too hard :) Cheers man, love your stuff, looking forward the next update :)!
It's supposed to play a sound at the end of an interval. Mine doesn't. I tried changing the tone and everything else I could think of. Installed another timer and that one works fine.
I'd spent hours getting the best timer for breathing practice. Finally i found this, perfectly satisfy my needs. You can have personal alarm, vibration or interval alarm. It's just so great!
Being able to choose the audio stream (which volume the app uses) is a nice touch. Slightly better than NeuronDigital's Exercise Timer. Impetus Interval is far better than both, which share the same problems as most program timers: Creating new programs is very time-consuming: there should at least be a way to copy other programs instead of starting from scratch each time, and there's no import/export function to share between users or devices.
Tried a half dozen interval apps, this one is almost perfect, customizable, runs in background while I play with my music app, great design. Only thing missing is I'd like to be able to chose different sounds at the beginning of the low and high intensity intervals.
This is my favourite interval timer. I removed a star because there's no option to pay to remove ads. I'd gladly pay a fee, especially after a recent experience where I couldn't hit the reset button at the bottom of the screen as it was obscured by an advertisement.
Got multiple routines fed in and now it works like a pushy coach for me... Love it. Just need to option to open the app to a grid view of the saved workouts and it is gonna be a 5star app and I'm ready to buy that app.
It's fine when the screen is on, but if the screen is turned off, the timer won't ring at the proper time. It'll worth 5 stars if the problem is fixed.
This app is a really nice one, set out and appearance is great and it is easy to use easy to adjust, it even has settings to prevent the phone from going to sleep from you not touching it , it even has no in app purchases to badger you :) high recommended
Very user friendly app that's very easy to use and it has AMAZING animations. Visually it's very "attractive" and I totally recommend it. Though it would be nice with more icons for intervals
This really help, it's simple / easy / fun... Just little bit request : more workout Icon
Massive keep awake battery drain, even after my workout was finished and the screen was off.
I will gladly give this app 5 stars when they add the ability to copy workout set ups so you can keep the same style and just change the names, instead of having to start from scratch. Also allow us to slide the position of workouts up and down on the home screen. A few more stickman icons couldn't hurt either. Overall, a great app, though.
At last! This has the flexibility to add as many variable-timed reps as you want in a workout, name them, tell you the name, and save the workout. Simple and VERY easy to use.
Missing 3sec countdown beep before any change. and the reset button is hiding behind the commercial banners.
Exactly what I need. Great job. Only ask is unlimited rounds, and option to count up rounds instead of count down.
Awesome app. Very clean and clever design, very dry and well choose settings, but for me, that rely only on the sound, it's missing some distinct audible ring telling me that my task/series is over. And that's worth a star ;)
Beautiful material design, with lots of color choices. Very easy to set custom workouts with voice prompts. And it's free!!
Not much of experience with it, but I think this one is really good. Nice animation
Why is there a limit of 8 intervals and no option to change that number?
It's OK, but sometimes the voice feedback will be delayed during the workout, which wold disturb my workout considerably.
Regular Tabata is already preset and it is very simple to make your own. I use it to set up my morning routine and it helps keep me on track. Great job!
