Recent research suggests that exposure to blue light before sleep may distort your natural (circadian) rhythm and cause inability to fall asleep.
The cause is the photoreceptor in your eyes, called Melanopsin. This receptor is sensitive to a narrow band of blue light in the 460-480nm range which may suppress Melatonin production - a hormone responsible for your healthy sleep-wake cycles.
In experimental scientific studies it has been shown an average person reading on a tablet or smart phone for a couple of hours before bed time may find their sleep delayed by about an hour.
Night Shift filter controls the amount of blue light emitted from your phone, and thus it reduces the harmful effects of using mobile phone at night so that falling asleep is easier.
This is the simplest Night Shift App and it lets you:
- Filter even closed app via Recent Tasks.
- WHOSE screen Filter with enable Navigation Bar Filter
- Free change the filter color temperature (Don't make blue light too high).

I was heartbroken that my tiny blue light filter app no longer updates, so I replaced it with this one. I am really impressed with the features and with how compact this app is. No bloat, no unwanted permissions and it just works.

I would rate it 5 stars if you could set active time to sunrise/sunset. It's lite and not bogged down with a bunch of settings. I've tried several and this is the one I'm sticking with. Keep up the great work.

Nhưng tui ý kiến như sau: 1) màu sắc, hình nền có màu đẹp mà khi vô trong có 3 màu xám, xanh lá, đen hà app nên có nhiều màu chút cho đẹp, với phần điều chỉnh Red, Blue, Green nên là màu của nó và chuyển từ nhạt sang đậm tùy màu chứ đừng có chơi một màu xanh lá cây. 2) schedule chỗ repeat nên cho chọn ngày, ko cho chọn thì khỏi để làm j
