What are users saying about FeedlyReader

Y70%
by Y####:

Nice app. Loved the dark theme. But sometimes I mark items as read and after sync they're back. Thing that doesn't happen in my Feedly desktop client. When I use the Mobilizer and switch to another app when I come back the page does not scroll anymore.

E70%
by E####:

Used to use Press but found it had a few bugs and it hasn't been updated for a year. FeedlyReader seems to work just as well and be under active development. Edit: has not been updated in a long time and mobilizer crashes the app

Y70%
by Y####:

Hands down the best RSS reader on Android in my opinion. Replacing Reeder on my old iPhone was proving very difficult until I came across this app. Big thanks to the developers for building in so many little features. Performance is great, too.

Q70%
by Q####:

Internal server error and other glitches. It used to work well, but now is hard to read any feed, suddenly it reloads the feed and it jumps up to the feed title. Totally Disappointing.

H70%
by H####:

Would be great if app cached readibility version instead of original web version. Unable to use kept crashing on note 4 edit: crashing while connected to Internet. While there is no connection app does not crash.

Y70%
by Y####:

This was a great reader until the bug with YouTube videos started - just scrolling past any video will cause it to autoplay and even after you hit 'back' it will try again twice more. So annoying!

P70%
by P####:

This is a very nice feed reader, I use it ladies with Feedly. I just wish it had an easy way to open an article if a browser. Also when scrolling past a YouTube video in a story of I accidently touch the video (even if I'm scrolling or moving to the next story in the feed) it gets opened.

by V####:

Do you love Press, but are tired of waiting for an update (or even news of one)? This is your app. Here's what it still needs: a better name and logo. It's boring. A true dark theme. Finally, and this is a weird one: make it paid. Go the distance to finish it, then said behind it and ask people people to pay. I dare you. If you finish what you've started, I'll pay.

Amazing reader app after trying so many readers finally settled on Feedly Reader as it provides all the options exactly I need. Great work guys!!! I am giving three stars bcoz recently facing lots of crash and also read articles and surfacing again and again under unread. Once these are up will again be back to 5 stars.

Seems like everyone (including me) loves this reader except one more missing feature which seems to be specific for the person. My missing feature is basically an efficient and quick transitioning from one feed to another without having to go back up to the feed menu. Something like Feedly app will do or any other method (swiping up) etc,. will do too... Note: Pocket integration authentication is no longer working for new installs. Please fix it as there has not been an update since Jan 2015. Thanks.

by N####:

The best RSS reader I've found bar none and in particular better than the native Feedly app IMHO. It is well laid out, intuitive to use and efficient. Currently, I'm experiencing a bug where on my tablet (G Pad II) I am unable to log into Pocket. This isn't a problem on my phone (Nexus5) but as I use this feature very often, it is quite an irritant. I've sent a notice to the developer but haven't heard a peep. As the last update to the excellent program was almost a year ago I really hope it hasn't been abandoned.

N70%
by N####:

Something about the navigation erks me though. When reading articles, and clicking on links within those articles, there's no way to go back one page or step. Hitting back takes you all the way back to the feed list. I find that so frustrating. Also, scrolling is very choppy with lots of dropped frames. Overall though... Nicely done.

N70%
by N####:

If you open an article, it is no longer bold, but it still shows up when the checkbox to show only unread is clearly checked. Navigation is a bit clunky, too. You have to go back and forth constantly. I'm going back to reading the feed online.

N70%
by N####:

A much better app than the official Feedly app. The only thing is the 1x1 widget seems out of place when using Google Now Launcher. The text and the icon are too small compared to everything.

N70%
by N####:

Crashing more than once a day. 400+ articles per day, and checking multiple times a day, so I use it alot, but crashes all the dang time.

N70%
by N####:

EDIT: i removed this app a month ago, but today found 1.4GB of cache leftover clogging up my device

Q70%
by Q####:

Although pretty much the same code base as the FeedMe app, it does some things nicer and prettier. But not suited for offline use yet, as image download is not working.

M70%
by M####:

For an intermediate user of feedly, this app ticks a lot of checkboxes. The app is very stable and I haven't witnessed any crashes until now. Have been using it for almost a year now. In all, a no frills app for connecting to feedly. Does what it says.

N70%
by N####:

An RSS reader that caches articles for offline reading is essential. Reader had its bugs caching articles, but FeedlyReader tops it up and then some. It works well with Feedly, but it has trouble caching from certain websites and corrupts the contents of articles. Interacting with it is cumbersome, especially when the article is open, and it's ugly as sin.

P70%
by P####:

It's annoying, however, that (unless in mistaken) can't switch off the internal browser or at least have it open links like Play Store ones as the app rather than web page.

N70%
by N####:

Clean, easy on the eyes and simple reader. Better than "Press" which looks to be left behind as it looks like it was last updated about a year ago. Thank you for this app and keep up the good work!

N70%
by N####:

It looks and feels nice. I'd like more options as far as view modes goes, however that is a minor gripe. The articles run a bit laggy, despite having a quite capable phone (LG G3). I'll check on the app in the future! I can see good things coming from it!

Y70%
by Y####:

It's the best reader out there and still have a severe bug when reading long articles. It would easily gotten a 4 but no fix and no feedback when mailed about the problem lowered my score to a 2..

L70%
by L####:

Coming from iOS, I used Reeder 2. Been searching for something similar in the Android ecosystem for a long time. This app totally delivers and is the best RSS client for Feedly, period.

N70%
by N####:

Great app, has beaten out gReader as my favourite RSS app. Only thing holding back that extra star is the ability to read alt / title text with a long press on the image. Otherwise so good!

N70%
by N####:

Initially seemed really good, but doesn't really work... the functions I want are there... They just seem to be a bit broken. No updates in a while either.

S70%
by S####:

Very nice app. Has lots of customization options like custom sync intervals and lots of themes. It's a perfect replacement for anyone coming from Press. Could use some UI refinement though (thumbnails don't look very nicely spaced). Otherwise an amazing app!

H70%
by H####:

Does just what it says. Lets me view my RSS feeds organized through feedly on a nice customizable minimalistic interface instead of feedly's eyesore. Best feedly app and RSS app in general imo, and I went through a bunch before trying this one.

N70%
by N####:

to be completely honest, can and should be improved upon (Play Newsstand's level of pollish has spoiled me). However, the number one flaw for me is the lack of a quick glance news-widget. Something as simple as normal Feedly's larger widget that can scroll between article thumbnails will do just fine and is extremely useful. Please add this as this is litteraly what my phone's home screen is built upon and something I can't live without. I look forward to seeing this application develop further and

I've send 10+ reports for the last 2 weeks. No fix...

K70%
by K####:

Best reader I've used. Two issues I have though: 1. No widget besides a simple link. Needs a proper widget, a-la Palabre widget. This is a deal-breaker for me, unfortunately. 2. Needs a nicer article list, magazine style.

N70%
by N####:

I want this app to become better. It has a very fast synchronisation with Feedly server and has a functional and pleasing UI. The problems are: 1. it doesn't load the folder list (left side) sometimes, 2. when you click a link in a page and move to the page I couldn't figure out how to navigate back to the article, 3. even when 'only unread' is selected it shows already read feeds, 4. I couldn't long click on the links.

N70%
by N####:

Great! But the contrast between read and unread items should be better (the non-bold versus bold titles way of doing it is not really enough). And switching from one section to the next should be easier, maybe swiping up at the end of the previous section.

Z70%
by Z####:

The best feed reader on the Play Store. It's free and ad-free as well. Gets right what everyone has has gotten wrong all these years.

N70%
by N####:

Oh yes, I'm giving it to you, right... Why don't you use the practical and safer Google credentials method as Feedly itself uses?

N70%
by N####:

Tried this in place of the official feedly app for a week but ultimately uninstalled. Primary issues are: 1. Feed listing is alphabetical only; 2. Folders in feed list do not remain open when returning to feed list; 3. No gesture, etc. to change from one feed to next/previous upon reading all articles.

B70%
by B####:

Can you add a feature to see the exact time of publishing? Like 8:34am instead of "7 hour ago"? And can you add a divider to separate the day of publishing?

N70%
by N####:

Press used to be my app of choice, but FeedlyReader does everything better. Material design, most responsive UI I've personally used in any RSS reader and every feature a power user needs. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

N70%
by N####:

Very nice, but not uniform with other apps in its "Read"/"Unread" look. "Unread" articles look gray, instead of a nice, solid black. They look like "Read" articles. Yes, once you read it, it gets even lighter, but it is never going to stop messing with your head! Every other app (all types) that uses this type of thing does not use gray for "Unread", but for "Read". It's little things like these that can cause people to switch (maybe me). Fix this = 5 Stars!

it was working fine but now I am getting this error: {"messages": "Exceeded hourly allowance of 1000 requests.", "error": true} i am running wiko rainbow android4.4
