GoodPlayer for Android for Android
Must Include Option to Set Default Video Aspect Ratio to 16:9 , instead of changing every time
can't play my DVD iso
Good player but No Support since 2015
Mx player is better!
I have a Galaxy S5 and the software generally works but any mis-steps and it freezes and shuts down. Then you have to reboot it. I used it with Toshiba wireless adapter to play FLAC files through my phone, seems I asked too much.
Works well. Great if we had no ads.
Cannot stream divx files from upnp service.
Like it
Ac3 format also play good job
Excels in it's intended core functions
My only issue, and this may be my own issue, is that I cannot seem to leave my video and come back later to where I left off without first memorizing the time so I can do it myself.
It doesn't let me watch what I want
After having varying degrees of luck streaming high bitrate blu ray rips over my hone network, I decided to see what the best smb solutions were. This player was the only one that would seemlessly play an uncompressed blu-ray. I tried both players with smb and file explorers with smb (then playing in local players) and this won over. It also supports DTS out of the box. Taking a stab at the reason why, it seems that's the adjustable buffer size (in seconds). Lost one star because UI is dog!
I use it to continually play videos as a video photo frame. It also joins the individual videos together without showing the play menus. I've not found any other player that can do these.
Extremely poor support. Emailed twice but no response.
The perfect video player
I love the UI, and how it work with network shares, but with 3 different Samsung devices (phone, tablets), it intermittently breaks up into pixelation. Recovers after about 15 seconds and continues. AVI, XVID. Does the same on a totally different network as well. WIFI in my home and Motorhome. Other players don't do this to me.
Cant access data behind symlinks using FTP. Doesnt support SFTP.
I can't get to files on the SD card in my S4. I don't want to put them in phone memory because of space constraints.
It works on anything nice job bro
This is really great player only one thing is MISSING ChromeCast, ezCast support please give us cast support and make this player the best one for android
I made some songs, but they happened to be in a format that was incompatible with most players. The only type of player it works on are media editors, which I don't need! Then I found Good Player, and all my problems were solved! Thanks so much for this very versatile app, Hustmobile!
Can't even play iso files without force closing.
Works fine with Lenovo K910

This app barely works. I tried connecting it to my FTP media at home server over the internet, and while I was able to browse the folders, none of the music worked. I was able to stream it as an SMB share though. Also, when I lock my phone (Moto X on Android 4.4) the music stops. Meaning, I can't play music with the phone in my pocket.. Fix that, and add some lock screen controls too please. Then I'll change my rating. Thanks.
Seems to be a decent player, and does support files that others dont, but there are no help files or user manual at all. Decoding, either software or hardware, is marginal at best. I wouldnt pay for this and will lookingfor something better.
It streams fine but when i choose to download a file from the media server to my phone it shows that it's processing for a second then it stops and nothing happens. Please fix.
Supports many codecs and doesnt stutter :)
It's cool
everyone need this app
Though This can play WMA streaming!

Other reviewers seems to rave about this app in that it plays .iso and .IFO/VOB DVD files. Perhaps it does but not if those files exist on your external SDCard. And, this app doesn't register itself as the handler for these formats. Net result, no playing from external card, and I'm not about to load 45gb of videos into my device memory of 9.3gb available. Using any file browser, I can see the files on my external card. Tap on them, get an error message saying there are not apps that can open this file. Use GoodPlayer settings, and it INSISTS that my media device has to be the internal tablet memory. The option for external card just doesn't appear for Media Folder. Didn't try networking options, maybe they work. But I need files on my card when away from wifi for long stretches of time. Still looking for a native DVD format player for my Galaxy Pro. GoodPlayer isn't it.
I wanted to use this app to play a DVD that I imaged and copied over to my phone. The DVD in question has a complex menu that contains over 60 titles. This makes it very inconvenient to view the DVD by selecting titles from the titles list rather than using the DVD Menu as intended by the authors. Also, GoodPlayer consistently crashes when at least one of the titles is selected.
I like it
Something is wrong with the settings. Every time i change one thing another option disables. It just won't remember my settings!

Then I found Good Player, and all my problems were solved! Thanks so much for this very versatile app, Hustmobile! EDIT newest version...... I love the fact that not only does it play most if not all media formats, and not even that but a few formats that are not commonly known, but also a speed modifier and a background capability! I'm going to have to email the Deva about keeping the speed setting when doing single song repeats.....
