PowerView™ App for Android
App works awesome , for timed events and schedules to work you need the GPS turned on, on the device your using. Use the auto calibrate feature before you start programing. Set up your powerview account and you will get emails when batteries go low. Remember the pebbles take batteries too! 2-2032
SHADES tab - please update to list shades them alphabetically or by room or anything logical. Right now they are in no specofic order and icons are huge so it is incredibly hard to find what I am looking for when we have over 25 shades!
App works but interface is not clean. It will show the shade in its current position and it's wrong as are many other view settings. iOS version is much better. Why doesn't HD fix Android version?
I think the app is clean design, easy to use and works well. I wish troubleshooting the hub and amplifiers were easier to diagnose. I also wish it were simpler to create scenes with multiple rooms, but overall a great app once you get the hang of it. Now for voice assist activation!
Love the ability to schedule when your blinds open and close. The app is very easy to use.
Navigation and information design are poor.
Got installed today. While shades, rooms, scenes seems to be OK, we were never able to get the scheduling to work for us properly. Apps seems to be broken for us currently.
Hate this app. It's trying to be so simple that it's actually complicated, not intuitive or user friendly at all, and I can never get it to do what I want. Argh!!!
Works for the most part but extremely glitchy. Shades work fine tho.
Works well for basic functions but we also have a simple setup
Prefect!
Worked first time really great!
Works as designed.
Very convenient.
Unreliable. Sometimes it connects, other times not, and trust to make you connect through the remote hub, greying out individual blinds and rooms. Bit annoying really.
A little confusing to set up initially, but works fine once configured. You need to input schedules using Android version 5. For some reason, schedules input using version 6 do not work. Took some research, but finally figured it out. Customer support was no help.
Had trouble initially with getting the hub to discover the shades, without an error message to explain where to go to fix the problem. I called tech support and walked through the process again and now have full use of the app. I'm happy with the functionality.
It works, most of the time. Suggestions for improvements. 1) App intermittently will miss a shade (i.e. if I have set up app to raise all shades, sometimes when executing scene, 3 of 4 shades will rise - I have no issue communicating using the puck and I have plenty of repeaters) 2) App only allows remote control through scenes. Would be nice to allow remote control of a single shade. 3) Latency of updating configuration for remote use is high (I have seen it take 2 or 3 minutes before changes are reflected in remote operation). 4) A few times my remote connection showed no scenes, no setup. Closing/reopening app fixed. 5) Navigation on app is a little confusing. App sometimes uses an app bar back button for nav. Other times (for example when editing a scene), there are no nav controls in the dialog. And need to use android back button as the nav element. Would suggest putting an explicit "ok" or "set" button on the dialogs.
App sucks for android. Never works correctly.
Very easy to use. Have your dealer set everything up for you and it will be trouble free.
Just read the book and take your time it does work.
Works perfectly
If you used this before and were frustrated by connection failures, crashes, and just not working right, try it now. All those glitches are gone and now it is pretty slick. It works week with ifttt and for remote control.
It's really nice to be able to open and close my window coverings remotely. Let the sun in during the day, keep cold out at night. All from my phone, any place, any time. Also, added sense of security when not at home.
This app might be able to do all the things it's supposed to for some, but it does NOT for me. It works about as well as my HD PowerVeiw Shades, which is to say, very, VERY poorly. It crashes every time I try to add a scene controller, every time. This is the only way to add a scene controller too. So, I end up having to use an old iPad to get it to work. If your looking at this review to get information, or to consider HD PowerVeiw as a purchase, I advise looking elsewhere. I've wasted MANY hours...
works sometimes but other times you need to recalibrate the shades to get them to work... really annoying
Wish we could program a tilt vane "only if blinds are already down" vrs forcing blind down I order to tilt the vane.
The ability to set timers is so valuable to our family as we no longer need an alarm clock as we can wake up to natural sunlight. Also the ability to have our shades work with nest to lower when it gets too hot is pretty awesome too.
Love having this feature on my blinds. App has been great, actually better and easier than the control puck that came with the blinds system.
Good app and gives me all the control I need. Would be great to have it integrated with control4 and alexa
Works great but set up was a little difficult.
Does everything I'd expect
Easy to set up and program
Great App of amazing product
Works great for me!
Works perfectly!
Love this app.
I started and seams to work. Well together
Has been unreliable since the guy installed it. It's working about half the time. My app image will show that it's open or closed the way it should be, but in reality I still have to manually do it. VERY frustrating since the point is to work when I am out of town. I'm going to have to install a security camera just to see whether it's actually opened or closed because I can't trust the app.

This app is not quite as polished as the iOS version. The shades are not in alphabetical order in their corresponding room and I am getting some profile loading problem. Opening the app, more time than not, I am taken to the Hub connection screen and I have to connect and wait for my profile to load up. The iOS version loads instantaneously and you are greeted with the rooms and their designated shades. *** If you can add multiple shade selection to control certain windows in a given room instead of doing it all or individually, that would be great.
