After a week failed. Can see program guide, but cannot schedule recordings.

Q70%
by Q####:

This app can't see my Humax box and is asking for the box and my phone to be connected to the same wireless network but I've connected the Humax via ethernet?? DOH!!

X70%
by X####:

Why promote a product that does not work with Ethernet connection.

Y70%
by Y####:

The app can't find the FVP-4000T on the same network. I suggest that the app programmers should ask for advice from the Google Chromecast guys since they know how to connect devices across a network.

Y70%
by Y####:

Says mobile device and humax product not on the same network. They are. Turns out our brand new humax product isn't supported by the app.

Y70%
by Y####:

Where's the competition? This why Humax don't have to bother too much!

Y70%
by Y####:

Does not work on hdr-1100s. Very disappointed

Y70%
by Y####:

I get a message saying both must be on the same network, which they are

F70%
by F####:

just as rubbish as all other humax products.

Y70%
by Y####:

Doesn't link to Humax PVR despite being connected to the same wifi network. Would not recommend

Y70%
by Y####:

Works a treat providing you've enabled content share and ha email your Humax box hooked into your network. Had my wife wondering how the TV was changing channels itself while I was upstairs - psml!!

K70%
by K####:

Installed app for Tablet on Nexus 7. Have Humax HDR Fox T2 which the app says it supports on IP address 192.168.25.25.25-27. Our HDR has address is 10.0.0.100. There is no option to set IP address in app. So does not work

Y70%
by Y####:

Why does this app not support £200 humax boxes its the only reason I bought the box so I could use it with the app. 1 word (crap)

Y70%
by Y####:

Doesn't work. Failed to find the DTR-T1010 but only found out it doesn't support it after looking at the settings. Wrong be buying Humax again.

Z70%
by Z####:

Finally managed to get it to recognise my HDR200t, but only by going into settings and selecting sharing On even though it was already on. A bit useless because I have to do that with the real remote first.

Y70%
by Y####:

Doesn't work. The Humax device is connected to the router by cable not wireless. The apps for the rest of my equipment work. Not this one.

Q70%
by Q####:

Just keeps saying the humax product needs to be on the same network. Which it is. The trial versions are even worse, they don't even try to connect.

S70%
by S####:

Where the hell is the power button on this remote control. How do you turn the system on and off??

Y70%
by Y####:

Works perfect on freeview play box but no standby button

Y70%
by Y####:

Unreliable software, does not connect to device after a few uses especially after humax goes to standby and back to normal working mode. Poor support from humax Co.

O70%
by O####:

Does support 3 humax setopboxes.... awesome! ... stupid

F70%
by F####:

It's rubbish but it's humax. Of course it's crap

J70%
by J####:

Won't find my device

Y70%
by Y####:

Will not connect to box ip address is avaliable on my network ????

I70%
by I####:

Dont work on lan

W70%
by W####:

Always asks me to select the one device I have. Always ignores , "don't show again" on opening screen. But it's useful if you loose the remote.

X70%
by X####:

Pity really wanted control from my phone as couldn't be bothered looking for the missing remote any longer

Y70%
by Y####:

I'm not sure why other reviewers are having so much trouble. I have an HDR-2000t with a wired connection. I installed the app and it worked instantly and, so far, flawlessly. I don't know how much I'll use it over the actual remote but the app seems fine.

U70%
by U####:

The app will not allow me change the IP address, so it can't find my box. Surely you can all people insert the IP address of their box - why would you hardcore this into the app?

F70%
by F####:

Same problem with conection. I will wait for new app that works with new boxes.

Y70%
by Y####:

Not working

U70%
by U####:

Why? Come on, get this sorted.

U70%
by U####:

It seems to work O.K but only after you have turned on content share through Settings. go to settings. Go to System Got to Internet Setting Turn on Content Share I also turned on FTP Server although this probably is not needed. Once the above has been done then the app finds the HDR-2000T (as long as your phone is connected to the Wifi on your router to which your Humax is connected) and you select the device and proceed onto the control window.

U70%
by U####:

Why promote a product that does not work with Ethernet connection.

V70%
by V####:

Just keeps saying the humax product needs to be on the same network. Which it is. The trial versions are even worse, they don't even try to connect.

U70%
by U####:

Only worked once now keeps telling me to connect when both are... i wish it worked properly

I70%
by I####:

Spent over an hour, disconnecting ethernet, making SSID visible, sorting out MAC and IP addresses. Guess what? It doesn't work with the HDR 1010S and I am sure many other devices. Why don't you make clearer at the outset the devices it does/doesn't work with on here before we waste time downloading app and trying to make it work?

H70%
by H####:

It's so handy for when you lose the remote or you're too tired to reach for it but it crashes every time and that's if you can get it to find your box in the first place.

U70%
by U####:

Doesn't work as an infrared remote, works via WiFi only. Garbage!

U70%
by U####:

Seems to work once content share is set to on, mine is hard wired.
