HumaneHelper

The world is getting online and mobile-centric. People are using internet and apps for chatting, cooking, staying fit, remaining connected with their pals and for what not. So we thought why not there must be an app which lets users help the homeless and poor peoples out there. Therefore, we started looking into it and the result is HumaneHelper. Our main aim behind this app is to make a community of Humane folks like you so that nobody in this world should remain sad and hungry!

With HumaneHelper you can help homeless and poor peoples by posting help-requests along with homeless's picture, a small description and his/her current location or by accepting one such help-request posted by other users.

You can help them in any way you want either by giving money, food, clothes or even with some hugs and smiles, making this world even more better and happy!

There are many features which makes helping them a lot easier. Some of them are:
~ Get a navigation path to the homeless and get navigated with the help of Google maps to him/her upon accepting the request.
~ Chathead like popup which shows homeless's picture and description while you are getting navigated towards him.
~ Shows date and time at which the help-requests were posted according to your local timezone and deletes every help-requests after an hour of posting it. So that you don't choose to help a homeless who is no more at the same place still.
~ Shows the location from which the help-request was posted so that you can easily accept one which was posted from your city or area.
~ Allow you to share help-requests with your friends and family, so that more and more peoples can help the needy.
~ Keep track of the number of help-requests posted and accepted by you.
~ Allow you to invite friends using the new and innovative Firebase Invites.
~ Intuitive, comprehensive and easy to understand UI.
~ Beautifully material designed.

HumaneHelper is my entry for Google AdMob Student App Challenge 2016. As the app is all about helping, you can help me too by downloading, rating and sharing the app! :)

Please note:
HumaneHelper is not yet compatible with tablets and might contain some bugs. We'll be highly obliged if you report us about app crashes.
