Doesn't do what it says because it saves videos to a folder that doesn't auto upload to Dropbox. You can't select a different storage folder either. Rip off!

Isn't really worth the $0.99. Just a video recorder with a darker, but still on/glowing, screen. Cops can delete the video all the same because NO AUTO UPLOADING!?!?!?. Bad job guys!!

No auto nothing. Shuts off after 1 minute.

This app is based on a great idea. However, it keeps sitting itself of at approximately 30 to 55 minutes into recording. It also does not alert my emergency contact as I have it set to do.

A good defense is the best offense

1. Auto upload needs to work. 2. Screen needs to lock and cotinue to record. 3. Need to be able to start recording from lock. Do these 3 things and I will pay $9.99 easy.

Charged me money but wouldn't download. Complete ripoff

1) App shuts off when any key is pressed, no way to lock screen without shutting off recording or answer a call (This is a major flaw) 2) No auto upload to Dropbox and/or other cloud storage without uploading ALL of your photos and videos. Conclusion: Nothing here you can't get with a free app.

Other than that, this ciuld be a great app. Had to uninstall it. Using a free app now.

good idea but crashes when trying to play video from app and does not upload to drop box. and other problems.

Not really sure what the developer is getting at. Absolutely great idea but it doesn't work. Doesn't upload to dropbox, doesn't work without location, doesn't work if the screen times out, doesn't upload to youtube automatically. I can already record video and upload it myself, the idea is to upload automatically so if the device is taken the video can't be deleted. I would suggest making this app work as advertised and adding a stream/live upload feature and a quality setting in case data is low/slow.

It saves the video files directly to: PhoneHandsUpForFree.(A bit confusing since I paid for the app.) DropBox uploads from CardDCIMCamera. There is no way to change the directory that handsUp saves to. And yes my phone is set to automatically save Pic and Video to the card. Manually recorded video goes to the correct location for DropBox. It's a good concept, I hope the dev flushes out the bugs. I'll update my rating if he does.

The videos recorded don't link with Dropbox, as it claims in the description. Dropbox sees all my other videos, just not the ones recorded by Hands Up. That's too bad because the main reason I downloaded the app was in case my phone became damaged or confiscated. Google Nexus 4

Saw this on worldstar today and had to get it. Hope this will help spread the word.

This app is a great safety tool for our society.

So after testing the app I notice that the screen doesn't completely go blank. Also, it would be great if the video would auto upload to a youtube or dropbox account. Not knocking this app. I think it's pretty awesome. As a note, I'm running on a samsung S5 Lollipop 5.0.
