Useless app

Pros. Looks good on windshield Cons. Voice is horrible, needs to integrate with Google Maps. No street names on HUD. Price is too high $8.99 when there are close to free ones out there that can rival. Overall I like the app, for the price I'd like to see more and with a better voice. OK just tried the app again. Crashed and totally could not recalculate. I tried the free version and thought I'd want the upgrades, But no. Second day trying this app, and I've come to the conclusion that I no longer want this frustrating app on my phone. I really tried to like it, way too buggy. Hudway I would like a full refund please.

Needs more work its a bit buggy on my One plus One. I keep getting blackscreen on black text issues. It also fails to search by postal codes for Canadians. I had less issues with RIT LLC's Hudway app when I bought the Hudway Glass.

I enjoy the hardware, really cool concept. I'm just having trouble with the app. Crashes more than I'd like and often takes too long to recalculate route. I want to like this app

The app has been improved, better user interface and better navigation, but HUD is still very basic, why not have the complete map in HUD mode ? Also screen flicker in HUD mode.

Needs to have a "miles per hour" mode for us ignorant Americans

After the latest update app is more stable n reliable. Needs auto speed limit feature like navemii. Overall good

Update: You can't get to the MPH through the settings in the HUD app. First select Map, then exit out of whatever route you have, select "collect" and then you are brought to a separate Blue screen. It's on that where you can select a menu where you can set MPH. To sum up: First select MAP, cancel your route, select Collect and then hit the menu in the blue screen. I've seen several posts that asks for a MPH and the response is that you just change in the settings. However, none of the settings allow for this. Under settings I get "Road View" with switches for filling, hard curves and distance to curves. Nothing that allows a change to MPH. As such, it's unusable for American drivers.

It's ok.. 1) it just look like a snake. 2)No adjacent views, intersections, and so... U feel like it's just flowing... 3)And also the Speedometer size is too small.. I means, if u have lot of space, that u feel is just lying empty, than speedometer size can be increased. 4) I middle sometimes it just disappears the route. I guess, because of rerouting. But I would like to add up more on Rerouting, is that, a)it displays a message - "You are off your route" or something like that (couldn't read correctly as the alphabet size was too small). b) the rerouting takes way too much time... Otherwise , it's developed in a good way and with efforts.. I thought to buy it, but with these basic cons, i feel it's much expensive..

Excellent. This will be the perfect app once they get the map working in HUD mode

If possible, displaying intersections would be a nice addition to improve situational awareness, so you can more clearly where you are in relation to the road/display and see when you need to turn. The social/account aspect of it doesn't work either, I can't change my account name from the prefix of my email which it took as a default, and neither can I set a profile picture.

This app and it's HUD have been what I've waited for. Couldn't be happier

The app is great but I cannot search as i would on google maps. I am in India and most of my searches result in no address found message. Long tap on map is not always possible. Can this be integrated well with google maps?

instead of letters, had white and red boxes for each letter.

Glad landscape mode is said to be added, but I can't test it because I can't search for an address now after the upgrade!

Why is this incomplete app clubbed with glass when it cannot support landscape mode?

When I was using it before I paid, it ran okay and remembered my settings. I've paid and it keeps dropping GPS and went remember my settings. The vocal lists cornering and such, but I don't understand why I need to be told a corner is coming? Update, getting used to this app now, only leave the route now and then

Decent app. Only gripe I have with it is when you enter a house number the app just tells you you're at your destination when you turn into the street without turning into it. It doesn't navigate you allllll the way to the number so if it's a long street you're looking at house numbers rather than it guiding you to like within 10m of the destination. It's also annoying how if you miss the turn it takes forever to re calculate and re route. And when you miss the turn keep driving every street you go past it re calculates over and over to figure out how to turn back. Needs to be faster you can't stop in the middle of the road wait for it to recalculate sometimes. Also so annoying a lot of the time you are on the road it tells you and it says recalculating or tells you to go a direction then stops tells you to go back. Needs slot of improvement

Not working on Google Pixel.Every time crashes

Useless app. All it does is show you the route. I can't even search for anything. I can use the map, but then it defeat the purpose of navigation if I already knew the exact location that I need to go. I can't even do one of the simplest thing, which is press back to exit the app and back to my home screen...Really? HUDWAY needs some serious work on the user interface and practicality. No one will use this app if it is simply not helpful.

Same as other reviews. Pure garbage. Does not work at all. Can't navigate a simple route in US. App needs a lot of work. Cannot search POI and gives error if the destination address is too close!?!? Can't exit the app. Not ready at all for Playstore...

useless unless you drive in a forest on a road without any intersections. The voice prompts for turning are not well designed and I think they are missing completely from time to time. The displayed road contain only a nice curve without any intersection. The distance to next turn appears only for a while before the turn

The concept is nice and cool to show off. The biggest drawback is that it really gets difficult to choose the correct way if the road forks at a very narrow angle. And in country like India where narrow angled forks are not rare, it becomes a bit unreliable. If only the road forks, T-sections, mergers and crosses could be shown as a short dotted path as opposed to the solid continuous navigation path, I would be able to make it the primary navigation app.

If there was a score less than 0 I would give it to this app. This app can't even calculate basic routes in the US!!! It gets stuck on the ' Recalculating route ' screen and does nothing.

Lame app. I had high hopes waiting on my Hudway Glass (which arrived with fingerprints and a serious scratch) until I tried the app. Are you serious? Everything the negative reviews state is accurate. It is the least user friendly navigation app I have ever used and am uninstalling. Since I now own the glass I'll be sending a request to Google to request they add a HUD feature to Maps so I can at least get some use out of it. Google Maps has every feature I need in a navigation app, it's always updated and it's free. HUD would just be an added bonus.

Need off line maps especially when travelling overseas where data bandwidth is expensive.

I like and its best.... But I upgrade and I need to get premium to get more features while I don't have money so it would be better if there is free access

Please draw intersection on HUD. Its difficult to know where is intersection or turning
