My galaxy s5 works great with this app. I actually like that it doesn't automatically connect to my vive so that I can set it up when I want. My only criticism of the app is that the notification needs to stay longer because if your playing an action game and turn your head at the same time the notice pops you can miss it. Also it really needs a composer for messages instead of canned messages. With SteamVR having a built in virtual keyboard it would be easy to create new messages from vr.

Phone and SMS is great but for this to be useful for me I need to see Viber, WhatsApp, and line notifications. Hell you know what would be best, a virtual android phone so you can use your phone in vr, that'd be cool... No no wait just the app notifications for now please.

Keep it up HTC! This app works just fine with my Samsung S6. I'd like to echo what others have said, and suggest that the app automatically pairs with your phone when you start up your Vive. It's not something I ever think to do. However, when it works, it does so splendidly. Very clever.

Considering the hardware is new and they are constantly patching it, I'm not surprised that the app has some bugs. It doesn't automatically pair, it often loses sync with the VR app, or flat out needs to be unpaired and re-paired to get it work. But when it does work it works well.

Fix the app. I've sat here trying to pair my phone everyday for a week with the Vive Home experience. My smartwatch makes this a little easier, but this was not ready or launch and you know it. Horrible development team.

Like most Google users I find this app useless because it doesn't support Google Voice. Instead of mirroring just text messages and phone calls the app needs to register for access to notifications and allow the user to select which apps notifications will be mirrored for. I can't imagine what tech disconnected manager thought this app would be a good idea with just text message and phone calls supported, but this review will remain 1 star until the obvious needful is done.

This is def a step in the right direction. Would love to have Facebook Messenger integration (I use FB chat way more than txt). Also needs either a VR keyboard or voice command functionality to compose reply messages. Im sure this will added at some point and I will up my rating at that time. In the meantime, keep up the good work!

Will not pair with a S6 Edge Plus. Windows 10 pairs in seconds but the software cannot find the phone.

Need to add automatic pairing with your computer. Having to remember every time makes it kind of useless

Just fix the pairing with Nexus 6P. It doesn't work.

Doesn't work with S7 Edge, computer side won't detect phone.

But needs automatic pairing at startup. That's all I need for 5 stars.

Both of my vives never save the phone pairing!

Pressing "allow vive to make and accept calls" does not work on Nexus 5, I can only press deny.

Why not have email notifications or to be able to view other apps..

I love the idea but I could not get the Vive to pair with my Nexus 6P no matter how much I fiddled with it.

Enabled Vive Bluetooth... Can see the phone and the correct pass code but it never finishes up and times out saying "can't pair with phone"

Doesn't remember my phone. Not even sure if it has ever really worked.

It be nice if it could pair only got it to connect a few times its very buggy

Does not find my nexus 6p ... Connection with smartwatch, windows and car working great. Need some work to fix this.

Needs to access all my notifications because all I get a phone, text and calendar. All of which are the least used functions on my phone!

Have been trying since I got the vive. The vive will not pair with my Samsung note 2.

Bluetooth on phone connects to computer fine but app can't find vive on computer

The galaxy s5 will not pair spent hours on it same with one of the controlers

It doesn't seem to work with my Nexus 6P. The app works, but the notifications on the Vive don't work. First, it was difficult to get it to pair. Took several tries. Then once paired, it would not stay connected. Efforts to reconnect would work for only a moment. When I say moment, that would be about 10 seconds.

I mainly use hangouts on my Nexus 6p, so until this app supports notifications from hangouts it's a bit useless for me. I also have to click reconnect on the Vive app on my PC every time I turn on my computer, which is mildly annoying. Interesting concept though, looking forward to it becoming more useful.

Took about 6 tries to pair my Nexus5. Only works with HTC home (steam alone will not suffice). Went through the trouble to do it all anyway. Hangouts notifications were not passed through to the Vive, missed important communications while in VR.

It enables you to take a phone call! Which is awesome cause you know a lot of people call me when I VR for 4 hours
