HTC Sense Input - EN

I love the HTC devices but, this app I believe was designed for people who need a language on their phone that was not provided pre-loaded on the phone. As far as anything else, it doesn't seem to have any other benefits. Great for those needed other languages b for those of us that already have the language they need in their device this app doesn't have any added benefits. Still love HTC though!!

Works well with my HTC Desire 626. Android is definitely better than apple. Glad I switched over. Also, the screen doesn't need a screen protector! It has survived every drop it has overcome and the screen is still in pristine condition! Makes me think that apple purposefully makes its screens fragile.

I am sorry but this is the worst phone I have ever had. The battery drains super fast. Have had it for 7 months and it has been in for warranty work on battery power issues twice. The keyboard is annoying and the apps that come With the phone are also substandard. Would not recommend this phone to my worst enemy

Best (smartphone) keyboard I have ever used. Passes and surpasses all the expected criteria. Predictive capabilities, dictionary memory, swipe to text, voice to text, haptic response speed is excellent. Some people are having an issue with learning how this keyboard works, expecting it to function like an iPhone keyboard. Not being an apple product and not functioning like an apple product is not a reason to downgrade something. "Omg, it's different to what I'm used to," is not a review. Annoyance at having to add words to the dictionary is not a fault with the product either. No one could honestly expect HTC to add every single word and variation to the dictionary, that's outright lunacy.

I wish HTC would have used a better marketing strategy so more people would know just how great their software is. Their devices are well crafted and on par with Apple and Samsung, but their software is what makes them superior. "Quietly Brilliant"... Absolutely true, but I think in the end will ultimately have been a bad decision.

Mediocre at best. I miss my Samsung. I seem to retype the majority of my texts. The word prediction often adds words that are so far off it's funny..except it's not funny it's irritating. I don't get how this app helps at all. HTC your exactly what I paid for. Cheap. Can't wait to go back to the far superior Samsung.

Never an issue, I will continue to purchase HTC devices. All negative comments are uneducated and over entitled man children.

I don't know what's up with HTC sense. But everytime I get an update on my phone it locks up and I have to do a hard reset and lose everything!!!! I can't even use Wi-Fi because that's when it updates. Effffff HTC!!!!! I can't wait to get rid of this POS!!!!!!!!

Can't disable it on my HTC e8. Freezes for 10 after each message sent. Customization is rather lacking, though is fair. Foreign keyboards have no hold for numbers and punctuation function. If it didn't lag, it would get 4 stars, since it's not the worst keyboard out here.

Don't buy htc product ever.. cheap product highly worst service Provider. Here to destroyed HTC. Rubbish products.. HTC 728G Dual Sim Smart Phone.. HTC must be here to destroyed your peace instead of here to change.

The voice to text button on the keyboard does not work at all. Letters that I didn't touch come up. It's just annoying. I prefer the older version

Auto-correct needs some serious attention. Why isn't "better" a choice when "hetter" is typed? "Qnswer" should yield "answer". All these words that are literally one (close) letter off and the suggestions are not at all close

It works okay but it's word predicting is trash. I have never had more misunderstandings with friends than with this update. In This review alone I had 6 wrong words...

Worst app ever my phone crashed everytime there is an update. Do not use . Warning will fudge up your phone.

The phone isn't bad. Not sure what this app does to improve it but... Anyway... cool phone, has problems but not bad. I wanna point out that this phone has terrible memory/phone storage. Get a SD card.

Idk who's at fault, but for some reason I can't access my user dictionary from ANY 3rd party keyboard. When I use TouchPal or Swiftkey for example, and I go to my personal dictionary to add a word, I'm not even able to SEE my dictionary! So there's no way for me to create shortcuts,etc. I suspect its an HTC problem cuz it's never happened on any other phone. I hate the stock kb on my Desire 626s so I guess I'll have to accept limitations HTC placed on BETTER keyboards. Seriously not pleased w/HTC rn

It's pretty good, but take a good look at swiftkey, the predictions are much better, and there's actual animations when you open up and close apps. I think it would be better with these things. Thank you

My keyboard changed with the marshmallow update and I want the old one back. Everything is in a slightly different place and it's throwing me off. Plus I don't like the color. An option to change back would be nice, just saying.

I want the Android emoji not the HTC emoji. There should be an option to go back. When I bought this (a9) I was so excited to see the Android emoji but then there was an update and they were gone. Sad stuff.

Been a HTC supporter for years but the thing that bugs me the most now is that there is lagged or a burst of letters whenever I type fast. I'm using a m8 with andriod 6.0 update. Please advice on this issue :(

Each and every product has its different user interface, im always fan of its UI, nd the sound quality just awesome, speed of charge, clarity of calls, HTC is best compared to other brands, some people must have lost their mind so they are not able to "feel the brilliance"

Replaces mispelled words with words that are not even close to the context of the sentence. If x,c,v,b,n,m replace a space, the spell check should automatically remove that letter and replace it with a space. I've never used a less intuitive spell checker before!

This HTC app is laggy and letters and words pop up ever so slowly. Before this last update it use to be great and I could type fast, but now I have to watch and make sure all the words show up. I'm thinking about going back to my old flip phone, as texting is easier too.

Ridiculous! Senseless! Inconvenient in the extreme! I type in a word - see it on screen exactly as I want, press space bar, and it automatically changes. Even the most simple of words like 'and' and 'the' often get changed, it's like a virus! I asked my daughter to send a text with this demon-possessed device and she nearly threw it from the window. Also, you cannot rotate the device to a natural two handed texting posture when calibrating the keyboard, so calibration is always way off.

Awful indeed. When tracing it can't keep up.. it = UT, my = NY, there/they = Rhett, do = Di, what = shay ... and so many other idiotic ones like this. It constantly inputs dumb ones like that or ignores what you trace and guesses what it thinks you were trying to say HORRIBLY INCORRECTLY. Plus it's inexcusably slow switching from alpha- to numeric keyboard

This thing sucks... Every first word of my sentences are underlined for misspelling, I have to add them to the dictionary even though the exact spelling is one of the "correct" options... It WILL NOT remember words I save. It refuses to remember how I type... I loved my HTC 610. I upgraded phone and keyboard pisses me off every time... What happened to the old keyboard???

It's half decent but ik that iPhones are much better then any Android phone is but if someone else hadn't stolen my iPhone 5c in pink I wouldn't have an Android phone ever again myself

This has been a pretty lousy experience for me. Questions legitimate non slang words, not very intuitive. I type faster than the keyboard can keep up. It works. I had to turn off predictive text so it would work...sort of.

A fine keyboard, but using quote marks and other secondary characters is troublesome. The software replaces the symbols I want to use as if I made a spelling mistake. For example: ['he jumped over the fence'] is usually displayed as [he jumped over the fence] with no quote marks. It's quite frustrating

I love my HTC phone I really do but ever since that one update my keyboard has been lagging big time. It's frustrating, I have to slow down my typing speed or wait for it to load what I have typed. I miss my old keyboard :(

There his no issue in htc devices but 1 is there htc would have to come up with their cameras ,i rhink they should use sony image sensor or lens to beautify it camera .i uses htc desire 816 and after update to android m there is no problem.team htc keep it up

Very frustrating dictionary app for HTC. I've removed it as it doesn't remember added words to dictionary. Could be my HTC phone or swype. All I know is I can't wait to switch back to Samsung

After updating to 6.0.1 , sense input is working disastrous. The new dictionary & word prediction is freaking awful. The white color of keyboard is boring. Black is much suitable for it, such as in previous version.

I love HTC but I upgraded to M9 from M7 and all I want is the phone keyboard back. There is no keyboard types to choose from in Sense 7. I hate qwerty. I'm getting my M7 out again and selling the M9

Go back home sand pirate's and Kill your own because ALA told me to tell you that's the way he wants it done first. He also said to me that every rag head should kill atleast 3 per day especially woman as to prevent reproduction of more small worthless no minds that serve as NO significance to the human race.

I loved the old emojis, gone now. I have issues typing now because it freezes for about 2 seconds when typing a letter and it's overall annoying. Really wish they'd switch it back.
