HTC Motion Launch

All these features work on my phone ,I'm wondering if they turned on the double tap feature .

I love HTC and all of there products but then I recently submerged my phone in water and then I panicked but I was relived knowing I had uh-oh protection (I will always be grateful for that) so I received a refurbished phone that would let double tap turn on my screen and and I've tried calibration of the g-sensor but that did nothing so I'm lost

Not good at all...I'm hating this....I used HTC m8 and I liked swipe unlocking but this HTC m9 motion launcher is not working good..please fix this

The tap to wake will not work. Please fix.

Read other reviews with same problem, uninstalled and re-installed. No change. There is no screen protector installed, just a bare phone in my hand. Fixes needed

I received my replacement phone from HTC and had all kinds of weird issues, especially the double tap to wake - which is what I use most. Chatted with their support. Finally got the rom to update manually. Worked until the HTC apps automatically updated. I uninstalled the updates for HTC Dot View, and HTC Sense Home, and disabled automatic updates for those two apps. Restarted the phone. So far so good. Give it a try.

Since the last update motion launch wake up no longer works voice dialer pull down does not work swipe left or right does not work camera will come on and it will got sleep with tap but nothing else works fix it for Christ sakes

Flagship phone here, tap tap off/on not functional, even after this update. Unacceptable guys......

After getting my replacement from Uh oh protection, my most used motion launch gesture (double tap to wake) does not work. The only gesture I really got to work was the camera one. Nothing is covering the proximity sensor, I've calibrated the g-sensor and have even uninstalled and updated this freaking app. I really think the M9 will be my last HTC phone...

About a month ago I used my uh oh replacement on my HTC One M9. Before I had no problem now none of my motion launches work except sleep and the volume camera. Can anyone help me ?

Just the camera and the off screen gesture works..I reset and uninstalled the app but the same problem continue... I believe we need a new update to fix it

(Motion launch gestures are not working. Just the camera shortcut and double tap screen off from lock screen work. Please fix I really find the motion launch gestures very convenient. Just got the M9 less than a week ago as of this writing. Motion control was working just as it did on my M8. Installed the update, it quit working. Brilliant job.

It used to work great, but since I got my hu ho replacement phone it doesn't fully work only the camera option but the double tap to wake doesn't and the slide up to unlock it doesn't work either!

Hi, I sent my phone back for a replacement and I am now on my third replacement phone and still the double tap to wake up the phone doesn't work, that tells me that this is a software problem so please fix this, I payed full price for this phone and I am not getting that.

Motion launch not working at all! What's your fix if there is nothing covering sensor and re-installing the app doesn't work? This is 2 phones now that motion launch hasn't worked. Is there an actual fix coming soon, or is it more "try and re-install the app" b.s.? Seeing that this is a major feature of your flagship phone, it would be a wise business decision to fix this issue before it costs you more customers. This won't be the last time you hear this, but this is the last HTC device I'll ever buy.

It did work on my previous phones , after receiving my repaired phone from HTC IT JUST STOPPED WORKING . I UNINSTALLED AND REINSTALED AS SUGGESTED AND I STILL NOT WORKING.

I just used my Uh-oh replacement phone and now none of the Motion Launch gestures work. This is extremely frustrating

My double tap to wake the lock screen DOES NOT WORK. It works when putting the lock screen to sleep, but double tapping the screen to view the lock screen DOES NOT WORK. HTC One M9.

Dissapointed auto rotation is not work properly and double tap is also not working..

Whatever you did please undo it ...phone gestures stops working ...then works initially after reboot then stops ...not good

Only tap to sleep and volume to open camera are working. I've even tried a factory reset. I miss my double tap to wake! My very expensive dot view case does nothing now.

Double tap was one of my favourite gestures....bt now it is not working ....it will work sometime after doing restart but later it stops responding to the taps....

None of the motion gestures are working besides double tap to sleep.

I love HTC what yall been dropping the ball like crazy I don't know what you're trying to do which are going to lose all your customers me myself personally I'm ready to switch to a samsung galaxy and that's sad

M9 does NOT work with gestures. Didn't before this update and still doesn't. Please fix. Liked that feature on my M 8

Not all the gestures like putting it to sleep work and a couple of the swipe cause some screen glitches :/

After last update I added a security pattern but since realised that double-tap or drag-up doesn't always wake-up my phone. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Do I compromise my security or remove a very useful but only semi-working feature!? Please fix asap but this time have it tested properly before release, because releasing a 'bug fix' software patch which is only semi-tested is inexcusable and you may as well not waste our time in loading such releases...

Please add double tap to sleep at home screen page . G3 & G4 & some other important phones have this feature . It's great and seems cool ! Try it just once . Please add it HTC . As soon as you say "OK" I'll give you ten (

Me and my wife have these stupid phones. Neither phone worked as described. mirror link also garbage worked until update Htc doesnt FIX the issues im never buying products of theirs again. Do not buy m9.going to Samsung

I got a refurbished device from HTC and non of my motion gestures work to unlock my phone. Please fix

It works to awaken the phone, but not to sleep..

The camera actually launches now with the latest update! Lovin it.

Double tap wake doesn't work

It doesn't work. The only way to make it function is by pressing the power button and perform the gesture within 5 sec, but it doesn't have sense. Fix it Asap
