HTC does it's job with mirrorlink quite well, especially when you don't have Android auto or carplay. I have a 2016 Volkswagen Vento, and it does what it is supposed to. There is an issue with the mirrorlink not working when the car moves, but that can be fixed with a simple change if you have access to the cars electronics! In my case, a simple VCDS fix

HTC used to be king. Unlike those iDrones iSheep people you used to get choices and freedom. You never used to get shed loads of unavoidable bloatware garbage like Samsung either. Well, not anymore. Since the latest update (and about 20 extra unnecessary apps) my M9 is malfunctioning and I'm in a constant crash loop. Rubbish.

Can't get car to display in my 2015 Civic when my car is moving. Looks great when car is in park. HTC seems to think it's a hardware problem. I don't see how it can be. Most of their agents didn't seem to have a clue. The need to get their act together. Fix your software and I'll write

I don't recall installing this app; maybe it was part of a forced update when I connected my M8 to my new Civic. In any case, it does nothing except slurp CPU and RAM. The car doesn't see the phone. The phone doesn't see the car. And apparently I can't uninstall it. So, HTC, thanks for a whole lot of nothing.

Since the marshmallow "update," I have had so many little things causing problems. I have all these new apps that I know nothing about. Looks like HTC could send out emails alerting us to these new apps and what they do. Cause it's now been long enough, that I'm getting an upgrade. I'm really weighing my choices. When I got my first HTC, the girl said it was THE best phone out there. I said what about the iPhone? She repeated that the HTC was THE best phone out there. Not anymore!!

I don't have anything with a 'mirror link' and most likely never will. Anything wrong with Bluetooth that nobody told me about? Or you prefer we keep using cables....???

Stopped mirroring after marshmallow update. Called HTC, said its a known issue and nothing they can do about it. Very disappointed, I passed on Droid Turbo 2 for this specific feature, and 1 month into owning the phone, the feature gets wiped out by an update

Have to turn USB debugging on and off till it finally works.. takes many attempts and is highly unreliable..come on HTC fix this connection issue 20-40x b4 it links

Another bloatware app from HTC. Forcing me to let HTC spy on my phone. Isn't it illegal to force uninstallable apps with outrageous permissions that I am unable to deny?

This app is unusable in my country yet I'm forced to have it on my phone - there is no option to remove or even disable this.

It won't work at all with Peugeot 208 2016, the touchscreen says that no mirror link software was detected on the phone yet I have all updates done on my phone including this app. Please could you resolve this issue. Thanks

I bought an after-market radio just to have MirrorLink. Most the time it works fine however there are some times that the audio will just stop playing after about a second or two. There does not seem to be anything that I can do to fix it, I just stopped using it for a while. I wish that it was more stable we work a little bit better. I also wish that the other media applications would be on the main page instead of just the built-in music app.

Not able to connect with my car. It shows 'connecting with mirror link' but failed to connect. Please provide update for HTC 826. Stiil facing same problem even after new update dated 04 Jan 2017.

Have tried to Connect one_M8 using USB,but command States " connect to mirror link via USB" not able to get any advice from HTC or Citroen

Very bad compared to Samsung ..you can not even hear the sound by earphone while mirroring on TV screen ..too bad

Does not connect to Citroen mirror link . Even though Citroen website and mirror link website says it's compatible

Trying to connect my One M9 to my Skoda Yeti Head unit. Connects when car is stopped but as soon as I start driving it says the apps are not available while driving, one of these apps is Sygic Car Navigation, USELESS

VW Infotainment: Spent so much time converting to mirrorlink due to Auto Android non-compatible WAZE. Bluetooth flickers on & off but not as annoying as :This App Doesn't Work Whilst In Motion. #POINTLESS

HTC One M9 doesn't connect to the HTC media link. The phone just doesn't find the media link. M7 works fine
