Doesn't work

i like HTC

Why is there no way of disabling this program? It crashed on my phone.

Need more settings like the ability to turn off answering phone calls on dot view. Anytime I get my phone out of my pocket I accidentally answer a call.

Seems to screw up Android pay.. Case off works perfectly.. Case on.. Mehh

It's very impressive for HTC dot view beautiful amazing covered and also good software fabric knit dot view.

More nonsense bloatware from HTC that nobody uses

Wish I could delete this from my phone.

Loved it but I don't use it anymore. I don't want it running in the background 24/7. Can't disable it = Bloatware

What even is this? It appeared in a forced update, can't remove it (along with a load of other similarly useless space hog apps) and now it just takes up space. I'm having to remove apps I do use to make room for apps I need more because this and other apps I don't want or use are taking up space and can't be removed. I gather that it works with a specific case, fine, if people have that case then let them add the app. Don't force it on the majority who don't have the case so can't use the app.

you have the right type of case (which I have) . For people complaining about it being bloatware - yes HTC put too many apps on their phones which is annoying (apps that you can't remove) but this app takes hardly any space (12Mb) and is definitely more than a gimmick so falls outside this label IMHO. For those going on about space - if it's that bad, get an SD card - 12Mb is 3 or 4 photos!

I still have my HTC One M8 but without a sim card as I now have an LG G5 with similar ideas but better designed but each have different functions albeit the LG one handles calls better. Am using my HTC as a music phone now but the dot view still works with that fine showing the name of songs plus still shows time and weather through Wi-Fi

Doesn't work with my DESIRE 626S,PLEASE update,I would love to use it. Or let me know what I can do...waiting for response with some help......UPDATE 6-15-16... after I sent my email to HTC they promptly corrected the problem sent me an update for this app and everything is working great. Thank you HTC!!!

If you have the case and need this Fine !! But I don't and nor do loads of other people. It can't be deleted and is sitting there taking Up space I need for apps I want need and use. If I could give 0 stars I would

A must have app for using HTC's dot view technology with appropriate dot view cover. Only issue is HTC doesn't provide do view option and cases for all its handsets. If done, many more HTC fans will appreciate.

Can the developers please incorporate the ability to disable this application? I very rarely use my dot view case, as it does not provide the same level of protection that other cases do. I doubt many people do use it all the time, aside from people that work indoors all the time. The app is always running in the background, regardless of whether it's permissions have been revoked and in-app settings modified (Dot View turned off). I have gone to great lengths to address this, but somehow the app always unknowingly reissues itself the permissions, turns its settings back on, and begins running perpetually in the background unneeded and unwanted again. HTC phones are great, but I must point out - this is the sort of nonsense that pushes people to root or consider switching brands. I'll send this to the development email, as well. Thank you.

Call can't be attended over the case. Touch senser is not working over the case. If I fold case back, mob automatically locks of.

Can't remove, can't disable. Way to annoy HTC customers on my otherwise great phone.

The app is pre installed in my desire 628 dual SIM but case is not available on htc store itself.... That's sick!!!

I don't and never will use a Dot View case, why is this a standard system app? Why can it not be disabled? Using up valuable system resources for absolutely no reason. Garbage that can't be uninstalled.

I have HTC desire 628 and have this app installed, but the problem is I don't have dot view case. First start production of the case and then update this app.

Why one well really I want to give you a Nero because this app won't let me turn it off or delete it I don't have any use for it.

Not needed on Android 7.1.1, working out of the box. This does not work on this Android version anyway. Very satisfied on Mashmellow

Great Feature and runs well in desire 826 but this feature is failure in desire 10 pro. In desire 10 pro unable to pic call through dot view Feature but this feature works fine in Desire 826.

i bought htc desire 628 and i bought the dot view cover BUT the touch sensor not working (double tap to wake up screen) also as i see in the vid i can answer call by just putting the phone at my ears BUT not working .. so i have 2 issues (double tap to wake up phone and opening call by putting at ears) the rest of features is working ... any help please ??

Having a problem on htc desire 628 the dot view is not working please help.it doesnt shows any time or any notication through flip cover i bought that device fifteen days ago

Works very bad, blocking all the time the phone

Why won't the screen rotate to landscape when I turn my One A9 sideways? I would also like the brightness to be adjustable, maybe automatic, for better viewing outside and dimmer at night. Otherwise it's a pretty neat app. HTC should give away the dot cases. I think it would end up selling a lot more phones for them as people see them in person.
