HTC Weather

Previously I was using HTC Desire 500,one of the best htc phone ever seen..and right now it's HTC desire 828,Android lollipop,HTC sense 7..I'm missing the animation effect in weather app..in desire 500..there was awesome weather animation effect..gives pleasure to have it..but in desire 828 there only showing photo...I don't like it please do the necessary Action and requested give animation effects in next update...,Thank you..

I've always loved HTC weather app.. One of the reasons I chose to go with HTC phones is because there very unique. The weather app. I had on my old phone did the weather animations with sounds. That's unique to me. It blew my mind. Once they took that away I was very disappointed. Why take that away HTC? PLEASE bring that back with the animations and sounds. I will give you 4 stars. I would like to see that in the next update. I'm waiting. Thank you.

please reinstate the weather animations! that was one of the things that attracted me to htc in the first place, many years later sill using your products however i really would love to have the animations back! please and thank you. htc has never really disappointed me in all the years i've been using your devices, you could make me and many others very happy if you can bring those back...

Absolutely terrible app. Half the time it shows location unavailable and the other it thinks I'm in Aberdeen ( I live in Manchester). It constantly gets the weather wrong, its apparently sunny but the heavy rain outside has other ideas and the temperature is always wrong, its 5 degrees c out as we speak. I've started using weather bug, its much better, rarely wrong and has bundles of features.

In the last week the HTC Weather app has consumed 410mb of data of my 500mb allowance! Can someone explain why? I also suspect it's the cause of recent high battery usage. Now disabled as can't be uninstalled.

M8 Verizon Marshmallow... Since marshmallow was implemented, could not detect or manually select location. Even more frustrating, cannot manually set a city in either the weather or clock apps. HTC app development and quality control has been disappointing on many fronts. But after an approximate year, it finally works again.

This is a nice app. I'm giving it 2 star as for few days it doesn't show my current location accurate. I'm living in new Delhi India and current location shows my current location to Shanghai. Please do something, overall it's a very good app.

What is it with this new update that it shows "Location Unavailable" a few minutes after I turn my data off??? Plz fix this...till then I'm rolling back to previous versions which worked flawlessly.

It should be sunny all day but it is raining all day. It is supposedly cloudy but there is heavy rain. What a misleading bunch of humans that run this. Weather forecasting will be obsolete soon and you will have no job. Humans

Great animations and not really power consuming on my 10... But still its annoying that you need location and data always on, why not just one or the other like before?

Location does not shown properly for Azerbaijan. For instance instead of Baku -Azerbaijan is displayed as a current location

The app is great but widget animation and weather icon on lock screen as well showing location service not available.which need to enable gps all the time and hence consume battery power

What a piece of crap now. Doesn't even know where I'm at even with high accuracy turned on. It keeps saying I'm 20 miles away from home.

Like HTC Clock, this has never worked for me. Can't detect any city. Permissions are not the issue. Lame

Unable to detect location unless putting location settings to High Accuracy which will use GPS. Before this, it uses my network to to detect my location. Constantly running on GPS ... not a good idea

I don't have unlimited data. this app just used 600mb over the past week. thanks a lot.

Past few weeks this App is behaving badly by consuming more data at background. Any solution available?

Worst app... Never shows accurate result. Google Map is far far better than this

Please bring back the old font size for the clock and location. The change is ugly and hard to read

Location unavailable uninstalling the app plain and simple however a decent weather app I still use is BBC Weather.

After recent update the location is not displaying... showing"Location unavailable".... Need to do proper testing before releasing any updates...

App has no alerts like The Weather Channel or 1Weather. This app would be 5 stars if it had audible & visual weather alerts.

HTC's company, please change the weather app on your phone, because it's our town has removed from your list. Thanks

Still the most reliable weather app. around. It may not have a lot of extra "bells and whistles", but it gives reliable and accurate forecasts as well as current conditions. Easy to use and understand.

What happened now???? It could not detect my location in real time after update please help me or fix the prob

It gives the basic information I need without talking up lots of space on my phone.

The moon phase is mostly always wrong and now it says it's sunny and has been cloudy and likes it's going to snow or rain

List of cities keeps getting messed up. My home city is shown in the drop down three times.

"Bug fixes and performace improvements" makes three new required permissions?! Absolutely fail..

So far this has been the best weather app so far. Has all needed, from zip code weather info. to Min/Max daily temps.

This is ok, but please add todays weather to the forecast tab! Today doesnt count? Weird. It is early in day and I click foeecast and it shows tomorow first. Show today too!

Will give 5 stars when HTC brings back the ability to use weather as wallpaper. It separated the brand from all others. Please bring back.

On lock screen weather was never available w/o GPS on. After the new update the weather is unavailable w/o GPS on also on home screen. I cannot set the city manually anymore.

Location is completely messed up after the update

Garbage ...never knows where I'm actually at as it thinks I'm in dover all the damn time. And funny how they brag about 10 million+ downloads but forgets to mention its forced on us and is uninstallable. I guarantee not even 1 million would still have it if we could delete it. I'll stick with weatherbug as it knows where New Castle is.

Guys this app overrides system timezone according to location. This is either a bug or poor design, please check and fix

M8-marshmallow: I see allot of bad reviews but I have never had any problems with the app location or otherwise.

Useless animations. Needs a radar. Besides that, great app.

News tab used to display weather news stories. Now all of a sudden it only shows one weather news story from Nov 28th.
