HTC Car

It keeps opening on its own every minute. I can't do anything with my phone because it stops whatever is going on when it opens. I tried to uninstall but that didn't help. Make it stop!!!!

Turns on even when I'm at home & still OVERHEATS MY PHONE & Wastes my battery. Should not activate just because I use my portable & home wall charger. THIS APP HAS KILLED MY BATTERY

even i close disable or force to stop but it auto start without reason or anything. i hate this apps always

I used to have an HTC Desire 816 and a car holder, and I used this app every time I plugged in my phone and went somewhere. It was awesome. But now I'm using an HTC Desire 626, and it doesn't work at all. It keeps crashing the app and sometimes even crashing my phone. Very frustrating.

I really enjoyed using this app when I had to travel by car using my older devices (HTC M7 and M8). It is very comfortable and easy to use. Unfortunately, this app is not compatible with my new device, HTC 10, which has Android Nougat operative system. Could HTC release an update that is compatible with Android Nougat? I would really appreciate that, so I could continue using this app on my new device.

Use it on almost every car trip. Wish that latest car and OK google would play nice like before. OK google while driving disabled on HTC problem apparently. Car voice very slow start, less recognizing, somewhat less capable.

Htc one m9 + Toyota Avensis + Mirror Link. I can open app from car's multimedia player when car is not moving. But when car moves car's multimedia player says that this apo cannot be used. With some Mirror Link apps this doesn't happen. Car app which cannot be used while car is moving => useless.

HTC car app was working fine on my HTC M9 before android system upgraded to 6.0. I cannot control music app which is HTC default one and showing 'this app is not available while car is in motion'. Shouldn't upgrade mean better performance rather than downgraded on functions? I purchased HTC M9 just because ppl said it is the best compatible phone to my car but now it is useless after android system upgarde. Make it fixed HTC! very disappointed!!! Or refund the money!!

The best apps so far for my htc 628. I purchased htc phone just for this apps. Therefor i could connect with my honda hrv. Love it. But lately, there is one apps interfere and disturb the function which is android auto. When i want to click home, android auto will block it. I dont know how android auto appeared suddenly. Please htc... hope u could vanish android auto from our htc. Hate it

After the last update, when I press the home button the screen flashes something about Android auto and doesn't return to the car home screen. Really really annoying having to press back constantly

The HTC Car application is only compatible with Honda and Toyota infotainment systems when using mirrorlink connection. Useless app for the rest of the car brands supporting mirrorlink.

A lot of people about complain about draining batteries when plugged to USB. 1 turn off HTC connect if you just want to charge. 2 if you want mirrorlink lower your brightness level to lowest. Another point a lot of people complaints is about the app disabling when the car is in motion and on my Honda I had to disable vst or vehicle speed tracking. Please quit beating on the app and use some common sense, the app is awesome.

My HTC desire 626 keeps acting up and everytime I notice the car app keeps launching by itself. At time I can't even use the phone since it exits out of any app I use at times I can't even successfully make a call because it launches the speaker and turns it off multiple times it is the worst app please fix your mistake HTC .

"Car mode enabled" It ruins my phone auto disabling headphone doesn't charge while it's on auto rotation not turning off FIX this asap I also diabled the app but it shows notification that it's enabled

This app is horrible! Long story short.. I started the app, it repeatedly forced closed and locked up my phone. It messed up my phone so badly my phone had to be factory reset .

This is the best car app that I have used so far. Work very well with my HTC - M8 and SONY XAV712BT. Somehow, it is not compatible with my new HTC10. HTC - do we upgrade to your latest premium phones for better feature and functionality or to degrade from what we already have??? Please answer HTC.....

Battery now won't charge at all with the latest update of this app. The app keeps launching by itself, won't detect USB lead being connected and I now have to uninstall the updates and turn off the auto launch feature to get it to charge!

This app randomly starts on its own frequently. I've now seen this with the stock cable, and other high-quality cables. Regardless, one of the best things about Android is the large amount of peripheral standardization, like USB and Bluetooth. One shouldn't require a proprietary USB cable. If the hardware is really THAT fragile (as I suspect given the number of reports of this issue), you should have either fixed the port, or just released a proprietary cable..

Before the last update it used to find the gps in less than 5 seconds, now it takes around 15 mins to detect. why you screwed up all the good work. Now i can't use the application.

Still keep coming back to this for its easy access to my other need it now' apps, where others fail. I wish it could have a setting that will open the app on connection to Bluetooth, rather than only the HTC car holder .. Other than that I'm happy with it

Was a 5 but this last update sucks. Drains the battery even though it is plugged in. App doesn't want to shut down

I have no idea why but it randomly starts on its own for no reason. Sitting in my pocket and pull it out to play a game or switch apps Car is running. Restart my phone and Car is running when it turns back on. The pinnacle of a perfect app.

Opens randomly when I plug in a cable and is basically ruining my phone - no option to remove either. Well done HTC

Opening when I switched on my phone this is very unprofessional and amateurish please fix this issue and I don't even have a car still happening lock screen waking continually since last update

On my M8s, when the phone is in the htc car dock and in car mode, when i press the power button to turn off the screen, the screen turns off an then it turns back on again...so there is no way to turn off the screen when the phone is in car mode in htc car craddle.

This app ruined my phone. It starts automatically n creates trouble every time. Ruining phone speed creating bug as well. Please fix it.

It does allow me to not have the screen lock or go to sleep while driving, and it offers to read text messages to you upon voice request. I just wish I could remove the music player and have something else in that spot.

I am really getting angry. This app is popping up constantly, while I am trying to use my phone and I am really upset. Please, someone tell me how to delete this app or to disable it or something. I am about to throw my phone. Seriously, please, and soon.

I'll be doing something on my phone and then it will put me on the app then kick me off it or just leave me on it, even this review was hard to do and I can't charge for long now idk if its the app or the charger tho

This app auto starts when m playing any video o using any social apps when location is on . Please fix it ,its so annoying. N nw each n everytym it gets on n irritates please fix it as early as possible. M nt even getting respond from u people

Uninstalled and then reinstalled the application because it was not reading incoming voicemail messages. Using HTC speak with this program makes it a little Annoying. HTC speak does not easily work with car mode. I may have to find another application.

As of the update before the recent one this app has made me hate the entirety of your company, I can't even watch YouTube anymore, car mode opens on it's own, be it on charge, off charge, with or without headphones, no magnets anywhere near it, and no water damage, all this is is bloat wear, honestly you guys are making Apple not look quiet that bad right now, please tell me there's a way to un install this garbage. Edit. Also this is not a smooth interface, is annoying and fidgety

My phone is HTC One E9+ chainese version but it have english and I obtain google services from an app from china etc... And i can use speak option. It say Speak is not curently availabel for this language. I repeat my phone is in english!

Better if i can use on my honda hr-v while driving like sygic app. Your app function is better than that app but not have useful function like i suggest. Thanks.

Phone suffers poor Bluetooth connectivity with my car. But no issues with any other devices. But my car doesn't have any Bluetooth connectivity issues with any other devices too. So who is the culprit?
