Blitzen (Flash)

Blitzen is a flash signaling app using the camera and flash on your Android Phone. Shared ride (ride sharing) providers, Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, etc., get within roughly 200-300 feet, it's difficult to signal the driver, of your exact location. This becomes more significant in crowds (train stations, airports, events), night time and bad weather (reduced visibility).

Each alternative taxi service has a simple flash code based on the service name. An example is Uber's flash code, dot-dot-dash, Morse code for the letter "U".

Flash On button is ambidextrous, one touch provides, the selected service code, 5 coded flash sequences. User must touch the Flash On button for each additional group of flash sequences, the cell phone will "sleep", to conserve power, if you simply put in your pocket or purse. A convenience light feature, provides light, for Blitzen users. The light remains on for 3-4 minutes and automatically shuts off, to conserve power.

Built in Options: Alternate Cab Service Selection, About, Help screens and a convenience light. Blitzen does not need WiFi or cell data connection, for operation.
