AF Detect for Android
There is evidently some type of flaw in this app. It usually comes up with "No AF Detected". Heart rate as high as 151, I also have a pulse oximeter on the other hand at the same time, heart rate pretty steady at 97. Also used a cuff blood pressure monitor that shows heart rate at 96, both before and after using the app. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY... CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK?
After using this for over a year I can conservatively say it was wrong 80% of the time, false positives and false negatives. Results compared to pacemaker downloads that are 100% accurate. A good pulse/spo2 meter with a graphing function diagnoses afib much more reliably and accurately by just looking at the wave form. How a program can screw that up and make do many useless determinations is beyond understanding. TWO YEARS LATER. Wrong all the time. Lots of false positives. No updates. Get PHOTO AFIB.$0.
Was in hosp overnite on ecg for check and this app said i was in afib. Ecg picked up nothing.! H.rate was out too !
I bought this, in really think I need my money back. It says my hr is like 122 bpm. It says abnormal when its not. I use my blood pressure machine to check against readings. Yesterday I had hr if 68 and no abnormal machine said he 122 with abnormal rhythm. It's a joke!!!!
The app got me to go to the heart Dr, he didn't think I had AF. 3 days on a monitor said I did, we couldn't believe it. It's a good tool.
Cute program but will not detect my afib.
I know it's just a phone app but still I'd expect some accurancy. Today I went to see a doctor after few months of testing myself with this app every week. I got worse stats in the app than in doctor's office and I even measured myself right after the doc measured me and the results were completely different.

Surprisingly good!
The illustrations show what normal heart rate looks but what does afib look like on the graph? That would be helpful.
And it won't give money back.
Doesn't work. It's that simple.
This app is almost always wrong! Wish I had a refund for this worthless app!

I ate a lot of sodium today and suspected the my afib might reappear. My afib has been gone for a year now. It said I was in afib. I feel fine. It also said my heart rate is almost twice as high as it really is. I tested it again and got erroneous beets per min. (BPM) three times and each time it said I was in afib. I tried to confirm the test with my Blood Pressure (BP) machine. The BP machine said my pressure was good and no afib detected. My Blood Pressure machine reported the correct BPM which is a lot lower. I tested my BPM with another phone app that I use and it was a lot lower and correct with my BP machine and wrist. This app also hung up my camera and prevented me from using both it and every other app I have that uses my flash. I am not happy with this app at all! Unfortunately, you only have 15 min. to reverse the charge.
Works good. I couldn't find another app of its kind. I tested it against a different heart rate app and the bpm are close. I like that this app detects afib. I have suspected it for a while, but it never happens in the cardiologist office.
Cute program but will not detect my afib.
Have been in A-fib for almost 6 months. Found this app and thought I would give it a try. Manually checking my pulse, I felt normal rhythm for the first time in months. My regular heart rate app also showed normal rhythm. When this one came up no a-fib it didn't surprise me since I know what I am looking for and how it feels.
It's awesome that this app can do what it does. I saw this on dripler and decided to check it out. Very cool.
Runs for about 10 secs on my LG Optimus 2x (running ICS) and then says the reading is invalid. I've tried different fingers, different spots on my finger - same result every time! It said it was compatible with my tablet (which I doubted since it has no LED/flash). Failed worse as expected. Too bad I played around longer than 15 mins and I can't refund.
Very inaccurate tells me I am not in af when the lack of P waves on ecg confirms af rhythm. Do not trust this application.
Works well each time I use it.
Useless
Does not work. Gave absolutely no indication that I had gone back into atrial fibrillation. Worse than useless because it gives a false sense of security and encourages one to ignore the symptoms of atrial fibrillation.
The app fails to detect the true pulse rate, ranging from 70 to 150 bpm on consecutive tests. It keeps saying there's AF when there is none.
Cute program but will not detect my afib.
Surprisingly good!
Totally inaccurate. Measures my pulse @ 130 when it's actually 53. says I have AF when my heartbeat is perfectly normal.

This app works really well if you sit still. Any motion of your finger will give errors.
BPM are never right, always way to high, despite the fact that I stay still. I have a heart monitoring app and it uses the same method of the finger over the camera. It is always 20 - 30 beats per minute lower than this app and correct.
This app is garbage kept telling me afib detected and my pulse was 156bpm. Put on my $200.00 OMRON cuff and it was 62bpm.
This is the first of its kind
App works as it should, have been using it for about 2 months now using Samsung Note II. Even my doctor was impressed how accurate this app is
Highly recommended.
I would like to measure my family, too. Often keeps saying Invalid (especially in bright daylight).
Good App, use with Samsung Note3, not a toys app

As other users said, the light gets super hot and nearly burns your finger, plus the heart rate given was wildly inaccurate.
