WaveRider Mobile App

App takes my money just fine. I get no connection errors or location not found errors 3 or 4 times (sometimes more) every time I use the app regardless of my data connection. ***UPDATE*** Just found that the app is deducting my account, even when it can't make a connection to start the washer or dryer. I've done 2 loads of laundry, and it cost me $20!!!

Signed up for an account on the website. Website wanted a username. Go to log into the app, it wants an email address instead of a username. Give it the email addres, it "Can't Log In". Go to "Lost Password" on the app, it asks security questions that aren't in my account! And there's no technical support or other contact information. If there were, I wouldn't be leaving a review, I'd be talking to them.

New to this app, and I don't like it. I'm trying to register, and it doesn't allow you to complete the process. This is a BIG turn off. I've read several comments and they're NOT good. If you want people to continue to use this app, you need to FIX THE ISSUES. I WILL BE UNINSTALLING UNTIL YOU FIX THE ISSUES.

I had trouble with several machines saying bad read. Finally, after moving my clothes around to several machine s, the final machines read it immediately which indicates that it is not likely my card. The app so far is not working, and is rejecting my information. If I didn't need this to do my laundry, I would not mess with it.

This app is terrible. I've tried for weeks to simply add money. Despite trying several credit and debit cards and reinstalling the app, it errors everytime. No one in my household can get this to work. The app is good in theory, but if the crucial feature doesn't work, it is useless!

First of all, this app doesn't work over WiFi so I have to use my mobile data to access it and pay for laundry. Secondly, I currently have $1 in my account. It costs exactly $1 to start the dryer, and yet when I tried to start it, the app kept saying "low balance". So you guys are just going to steal my money and won't let me use it? Thanks a lot. Fix this BS

Good idea made me want to try it out. But nothing on the app works, won't even let me sign in. Had to register online then try to sign on on the app... nothing. It just freezes. Hope it gets fixed soon!

I would rather witness a bloody train wreck than continue to be forced to use this app. I can't start a single load of laundry without this app force closing itself multiple times (on different steps, no less). The sign-up took about 30 minutes and 12 or so force closes. There are literally no app developers on the planet less competent than the ones who created this burning dumpster fire.

My college has these set up for us because it's "such a great deal", apparently. It's not. This company is absolutely horrible, it's systems are horrible, and this app is horrible. I couldn't even add a debit card. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Cant add money to acct, no matter what cc I use. Authentication failed everytime! App sucks. Amazing technology. Month later still doesnt work. You! That designed this app...suck at your job.

This app is a great idea, and is awesome when it works, but it only works about 1 out of 10 times you try to use it. It takes you're money fine, but won't give it back to you for any sort of refund and you can only use the money for laundry. That wouldn't be too bad but 90% of the time I get connection errors or "location not available" notifications even for machines that actually have worked before. I downloaded this app to save me the hassle of using quartets, but now I wish I just used the quartets.

It's supposed to make life easier, but I can't get anything to work on it. It won't accept my cards and it won't let me log in out of the app saying "user does not exist" when I'm logged in on the app so why don't I exist? I like the theory but there are way too many bugs for it to work

It says "connection timeout" over and over, then suddenly works and deducts money twice for the same machine. It took me 10 minutes to get 2 dryers going and I ended up paying for 3.

For awhile, this app was working fine but since early this year, 2015, either it don't work at all or when it does, it charges me 2 or 3 times. Most times I get connection timeout error. I will no longer use this app.

This is so bad. For an app that handles money and something as vital as laundry, this app should be far more reliable, but it isn't. After loading some money on, I tried scanning a QR code to pay and start a machine. Well, wouldn't read it. Had to use my card. Then, today, I open the app to try it again, and it simply says I don't have an internet connection when I try to sign in, but I do. So ridiculously disappointing. It would be so convenient if it worked, but it's so unreliable and barely usable

Doesn't list the laundry room in my complex. Online sign up option to select by zip code has zip codes in a random order. Wanted this to check my laundry status. Guess I'll just set an alarm. Terrible app.

Can't log in because the app isn't even in sync with the website. Are the two connected to the same database or did the Jr programmers hard code everything? And I get to pay higher laundry prices for this convenience?

This app will let me log on and will tell me if there are any washers or dryers available, but this is all it does. The QR reader scans the code but always times out before paying, or tells me there's no connection. At least I read the reviews first and didn't sink more than a couple dollars into it! Better to just use quarters.

The app is honesty just not well thought out. it refuses to allow me to make an account by either timing out every time, or not accepting my phone carrier as an option and giving no "Other" option.

It took me several tries to update my payment information and then pay for the laundry. Please fix soon! This is my first use of the app.

Great idea, needs more work in order to make it completely functional. The developer needs to update the locations. Mesa, AZ isn't included or my complex. The card readers on their machines have difficulties reading most cards and can take up to 11 swipes before your card is accepted. My suggestion would be to do what I do, take the extra time to use the laundromat up the street for almost half the price.

This whole system is a joke! As I stand here with three dryers with wet clothes and it won't work. Card or app. Not the first time. Don't ignore the ratings! It truly sucks.

Won't find my account can't use with WiFi can't wash my clothes.bevause you have to have the card or the app, I have sheets with toddler puke all over them and no way to clean them yayyy

Supposed to make doing laundry easier, but will not even let me create an account. Thus leaving me with no way to even start a load of clothes. Extremely upset with this app and their services.

I regret ever touching this app or the "service" provided. I'll lobby my apartment management to get rid of this payment system as soon as possible. Awful.

Won't take y money. I can't pay via my card and scan the machine to keep an eye on it. The only thing it does do is tell me if any machines are free.... Please let me scan my machine even if I don't pay with this app. Something so basic.... *update* Still doesn't work... for like 6 months now....

Reader for bar code doesn't work. Put $40 on my account and can't use it since it won't read it from my phone. Can't get my money back, either. The only good thing about this app is that you can get an approximate time that washers and/or dryers are ready to be used (I.e. which ones are empty)

Can't add payment info. It only shows if there are machines available. You should be able to pay using cash or card on the machine and scan the QR code so it will tell you when your load is done. You shouldn't have to pay through the app. Especially since it doesn't work.

I created an account on my phone but it wouldn't accept my card information, it kept saying the number was invalid. It did this with all my cards. I tried logging out and back in, same thing. Adding cards on the actual website is not an option. So, I'm going to uninstall and go back to using quarters.

Previously registered account and set up a user and pass. It won't even let me enter my username in the "username" field. It tells me invalid email address. So when I try using the email associated with my account, it just says, "Login failed," with no explanation. Garbage app and overpriced laundry service. Would not recommend.

I have tried over and over to use this app. As soon as I log on it says it cannot connect to the server. After several attempts it let's you on. Once you try to add a card it says either "can't connect to server" or "missing information" but no indication of what's missing. Then it will tell you "card successfully added" but then go to add money and it says that there is no card on file. I tried to use their online chat, waited for 20 mins and no one connected to help.

Won't let me login! Asks for username then tells me it's not a valid email address. I put in my email address and says I'm not a valid user.

I was wary of this app because of the bad reviews so I only put $10 on it. I have used it on 3 different days this month (this is month 1 my building has had Waverider machines). I've been able to start all washers and most dryers (only 1 problem with an unrecognizable dryer) with the app. The app also sends me an accurate text message when my laundry is done (I can also see a countdown timer for each unit). I can see how many units are open. 4stars bc app is a little clunky. I'm in Wash, DC & use a Moto x.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it'll connect to the server, sometimes it won't. Developer never provides any feedback. Software feels like it was written by someone who just took their first programming course, servers feel like they are poorly maintained.
