I love and use this app every day. There is, however, one annoying issue. Anything on the windshield and the app will focus on that. I have tried all the focus options. What this needs is a slider to manually focus the camera.

I can't find a decent setting where it's not blurry. I'm not talking a little fuzzy, I'm saying it's unwatchable and unuseable. Daytime video is ok, night time is awful. I've tried every setting combination in the app with no success. S7 Edge. Waste of $ at this point.

This app sucks. I bought the paid version and installed it. It caused my gps to quit working. Had to uninstall in order for my gps to work again.

The developer refuses to help me sort out the constant issues I'm having with this app. DO NOT BUY THE PRO UNLOCKER, IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!! The developer is a complete C U NEXT TUESDAY!!!

I used the free version which works great then I decided to purchase the pro version so it can run in the back ground with a navigation app such Google Maps or Waze. Only problem is it causes the phone to overheat in about 20-30 minutes and shutdown the phone. It's a good app function wise but it's useless because it doesn't work. I wished they can make it less CPU consumption so it can work along with navigation app.

I use this every time I drive which means I use it several times a day. The video quality is high yet the file sizes are relatively small. Perfect dashcam app!

When I run the app it tends to overheat my phone even in background mode with the screen turned off the phone will get so hot that it will stop charging LG V10 user

Has been a decent app. Except for the fact that locked videos dissappear. One video to be used as evidence in a collision in particular. When you lock the video it's supposed to stay there!

I bought this app a few years ago and used it religiously with an old Galaxy S3. Being rooted with a different ROM I had a few issues but the developer answered my queries and was very helpful. I've nothing to say but good things about this app, although I've moved to a dedicated dashcam now.

This app just keeps getting better and better. I have just reinstalled it on a new OnePlus3T and it is excellent. I had not used it for a while before that and was pleased to see the feature of being able to slide the minimised window around the screen to get it positioned right alongside, say, a mapping app. One word of caution, when I installed it, I accidentally left it with sound set to record (I normally dont bother with that). Yesterday, while driving I had the car radio on and they played a track from the new Paul Weller album (Yay!!) I also had the setting set to automatically upload to YouTube and delete from my phone. Imagine my surprise when I got two messages, one from YouTube to say the video had uploaded successfully and a second message from YouTube to say that my video had been blocked by Mr Weller's management for copyright infringement (i.e. uploading a video containing the Paul Weller song)!! I have no problem with artists protecting their copyright but I shall make sure sound recording is off in future so I dont accidentally breach anyone else's copyright - and lose access to what might be an important video.

Bought the Pro version. One touch to record in background whilst using phone sat nav on journey. Night time recording not so good so only 4 stars but for just a few pennies, a great app.

Works brilliantly on my LG G3, have already told slot of friends about it. One feature you could maybe add is running the front camera when it's recording so you can see what's going on in the car too.

Will give it 5 stars once the nighttime.focus issues are.fixed with the Galaxy S7. Might be an issue with other phones too. Would also appreciate manual selection of the HD resolution up to the maximum supported on the device being used.

Until this most recent version, Autoguard was almost flawless, now with the most recent update I can't open the app, once it's fixed, I'll push my rating back to 5 starts.

Nearly perfect. I like it better than anything I've tried even my store-bought dashcam. Love how it syncs with a GPS and displays on a map exactly where you were while watching the playback of the video. I have found only a few small problems so far. A lot of the time to the background recording widget button this not work unless the program is on. Also it would be nice if the delete all button did not delete your archived or accident videos. I came very close to giving it a 5 but would love to see these improvements.

Bought this about 3 weeks ago. I have remarked that it does stop recording from time to time unexpectedly (application crashed??) - this will definitely not help in case of accident... this is a paid version and it should be reliable. We paid for it after all. Doesn't work anymore since last system update - get a gray screen. Please fix those issues. Thanks.

Was using a different app but after an hour or so my phone would start becoming unresponsive and crazy at times. Since switching to this app it's been responsive the whole trip. Definitely recommend.

Very disappointed to see all my videos disappeared after last update, this includes those important videos I had LOCKED to prevent auto delete. Not trustworthy software at all anymore. Developer should understand that people rely on this software for evidence.

I had this for over a year worked great then your last update broke it does not work. Please update again with a working version I have a note 7. I have read others are having the same problem.

Was a decent app. Used this on a daily basis. Now that I have a new handset, the app just does not open. What a waste of money. Not happy at all

one thing that would be great for this app is if we can get speed/red light camera notifications since gps is already enabled.

It records most of the time... I started posting videos of bad drivers, and in this week, i am missing 4 videos, because this app doesn't actually record all the time though it says its recording..... Like right now, i had the app record since i started driving around 10pm. I wanted to view my clips of when the police had shown up. The app only recorded at 10:17pm-10:27 and then the next clip was 10:37pm-10:47pm. So i am missing 10 minutes of video that i wanted.

Use it frequently. Better than most dash cams and at a much better price ☺. My Note 4 gets a little warm using it, but the app works great.

I have a Samsung S5, Night driving seems to send focus out also I can't figure out how to reduce sensitivity. The app thinks I've had an impact on bumpy roads and speed bumps. These issues aside I think it is amazing. I've had a dash cam that costs £80 that kept failing, this app is a great alternative.

This app was great but now won't save to micro SD card so is currently useless as a decent length trip fills the phone memory.

Does what it claims it will & does it way beyond expectations

Worked fine for a while, now it always crashes or won't even open.

Hi team, it stop when my Note 3 turn to Stand by mode. It work well if the screen still on. Please help me. This soft work perfectly on other phone as HTC One. But unluckily, it not work well on Note3.

It kills the battery crazy also if you want to record voice forget making calls on your Bluetooth

I loved this app, but now it locks my S3 up so hard I must pull the battery. This happens when a call comes in or I mess with Waze too much. Made me sad to uninstall it.

Devs, I'm a dev too, but not for smartphones. I'm impressed with the work and bought it without hesitation for use on my OnePlus One after evaluating 3. 5 stars because I couldn't give 4.5 stars and I liked it more than the other two. Two things in my mind that rounds up this app to make it perfect: 1. The background and text closed caption when viewing on youtube needs to be adjustable or auto adjust so the text displays on the screen clearly. The white on black works, but sometimes you want to view the time with the incident simultaneously. 2. If there is a way to upload the video with the map shown as a split screen recording on youtube, that would be make this app pretty much perfect for me. Where I live, people drive like they never got any training and you can't really trust anyone. Every single car has a scratch or dent and the population is super dense. I like the smartphone implementation better than dedicated hardware because features and fixes can be sent automatically to all users.

Had an old LG Optimus like new just sitting in the closet for a couple years. Heard about this App, bought it and for $2.99 I've now got a GREAT new valuable tool in my car! Works perfectly and I love it!

I like the idea of this app. I paid for the app and I use it every day. But it doesn't work correctly. It gives tons of options for 1080p, 720p, and 480, as well as SD. it lets you choose frame rates and everything. I have tried choosing 720 or 1080, 60 fps, or 30 and no matter what, every video is SD, and 30fps. Why, when my phone can record in 4k, am I being forced to use low res recording?

No longer records continuously, won't save to SD card and playback is unreliable. I've swapped to a rival app that works and I didn't have to pay for it like I did for this one.

It has some nice features, however also various problems that need attention. The compass does not work. This is irritating, as the compass jumps around, behaves like a fan, but never shows a true direction. Can we have the option of hiding the compass? Or can the compass be made to work correctly? The system does not detect when a storage medium is full. It will try to record, then stop after a short while. Device: Samsung S2, stock (not rooted.......)

No longer works unless I give it access to my contacts. Why would it need that? ...but they say that the "promise" that it won't hurt my privacy.
