House Beautiful Connect lets you use your Apple device to read invisible watermarks that are embedded within the photos of House Beautiful every month. When you see the HB Connect smartphone icon in the pages of the magazine, you can scan the image to unlock behind-the-scenes videos and special content. You can also scan specially marked pages to “try-on” new paint colors or products in your home.
Simply launch the app and in “Look” mode, hold your device steady 4 to 6 inches above the watermarked image. Let you camera focus anywhere on the image, wait for the chime to experience videos, slides and more.

Has the potential to be an amazing app but is very glichy and I have no way of pinning photos from articles onto pinterest. I love the scan option with the mag but not able to scan the same page more than once. They also need scan icons on main stories which at the moment t they're aren't any. Looking forward to a better future for this app.

I'm in the video and when I want to exit, the audio keeps going even when I'm not in the app and I cannot back out of the app. Uninstalling.

Bummer. Doesn't work on my Samsung 5 i was so excited to finally see the Android version. . You can't offer an app if you don't test it first. Helloooo.

Using Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 with no results. Installed to use with House Beautiful magazine, but it won't scan anything, and its a huge drain on my tablet. My cleaner app recommended I uninstall. I'm taking its advice!

I found the directions under info and followed them, but nothing ever happened. Even the links in the magazine section wouldn't work. Fail.
