Hopper - Watch & Book Flights

I first started using the app to track my friends' flights and see if they had saved money. I wanted to also compare it to other travel sites and see whether or not the price predictions were accurate. This is a pretty fantastic application because whatever data sets are being used actually work to predict! I've now used Hopper to help me save money on flights to Vegas and to Atlantic City. Next stop is New Orleans, so I'm hoping to also buy at an opportune time using Hopper.

Booked a flight through the app. Seemed to be the right thing to do to reward them. However this resulted in both Hopper and the carrier charging me for the flight. I am now fighting both them and also my bank to get the refund. Meanwhile bank account is empty and bills are being declined. Great, thanks Hopper. My advice use the app for the alert but definitely don't book through it.

At first, I thought it was going to be a good app and had high hopes. The app kept telling me to wait for a better price and then they kept raising their "low price" prediction as the actual price rose. I waited like it said, the prices never went down and I paid more. Hopper sucks!!!

This app is useless! Flying from Newark to San Jose, app told me to purchase tickets now because I most likely won't see a better price. Two days later price of tickets drop $100. Don't waste your time with this one.

Hopper saved my trip! Knowing that prices vary but not being able to pinpoint the best time to buy was frustrating. It was great to have my trip "watched" and get updates or quickly check the status on the app. I tried another popular app and found it bewildering whereas this one was super easy. My only suggestion would be if they could allow you to "watch" your specific flight, not just the trip. The lowest price shown was an indicator, but I had to take the extra step to see what our actual flight cost. Overall a great app though.

Terrible! Not even CLOSE to the lowest fairs. Gave me very few choices, at very high fairs, and did not even show a number of airlines (only showed 2 for the international flight I was looking for)... Weak App...

Heard about Hopper from a friend and liked it so I downloaded it on my Android phone, but it won't let me search for flights. It will let me choose from preselected airports, but not the ones I actually need to use. Therefore, the app is basically useless. It might be a good app if I could search for flights out of my home airport.

Haven't been getting notifications lately on Galaxy S7 running Nougat. I did check my notification settings and I have it set to show notifications from Hopper but it never happens :( makes the app sort of useless without push notifications working for me.

Great app! Simplifies so much of planning a trip. I just wait until it tells me to buy! I tell everyone about it!

This app is amazing I have booked one international flight and 2 domestic flight using this app and I have saved so much money. I am always hesitant to wait to book a flight but, Hopper has always tells me when to book. Amazing

Hopper is great... I just wish I could EXCLUDE specific airlines from my searches. Example: I want a great deal, but I will not fly on Spirit.

If you are willing to take any flight at any hour, sure this app will probably be a must. Otherwise you'll end up wasting actually more money to keep waiting for the better price, when it comes you discover is a flight at 6am or midnight you don't want to take it, but then all other flights became too expensive to buy. Good that they added the possibility to show direct flights only, but for me is not enough, if they have all the data then they should be able to add fine filters. Refreshed UI made this app worse, lot of margin added in the dashboard makes everything hard to grasp.

If you need to change your flight plans on 24 period or not they won't honor your cancelation. Hopper customer support will wait till after the supposed 24 hr time frame of cancellation to respond with a answer. If you do get a email prepare to fight for your dispute, because they will pass you around via email without actually canceling your order.

This is the worst price alert app. The algorithm always says to wait because prices will drop. Well, I've been waiting 2 months and the price has only risen. Now I'm ending up having to pay $320 more than I would have 2 months ago. Avoid this app at all cost.

I believe that for cheaper and faster booking tickets this is one of the best sites to go to. This is because it give you the opportunity to watch the plane ticket prices and see if it will increase or decrease. I really do recommend this site ALOT.

I am new to the app, and although I use it with other apps to dial in my plans - it works well in Europe. You can find cheaper flights from time to time by going to specific airlines (discount carriers), but overall very helpful. No algorithim

Found better deals on my own. App wasn't that helpful and deals weren't the best prices. Lots of limitations and you can't submit a range of dates for a trip if you have flexibility.

I watched a flight and, within a week I received notice that the price dropped 50%! Needless to say, I booked it. Love this app.

I find this a great app to use to find the lowest price. It lets me track my flight and make a choice of which airline to fly when the price is the lowest. It also gives great tips on traveling like check-in baggage, snacks, drinks, Wi-Fi, things like that.

This is a great app for finding a flight within your budget especially when your dates are flexible. You can choose flight dates based on which months, weeks or days are less expensive, and the predictions so far have been pretty accurate. I have recommended this app to family and friends.

I checked flight and then checked this app. It found lowest flights of $200 more than the lowest flights I found for the same days and it found longer layovers. Not a good say to go.

The app needs a lot more functionality. Basic functions, like being able to select 3 or 4 home airports would be very useful. Where I live I have the choice of 4 airports to fly from. Being able to select a range of dates would also be useful.

This app has come in handy countless times for me. Most recently it saved me $200 on what was originally a $400 flight - Hopper alerted me right away when there was a good deal. This is a great tool as long as you know the dates that you're trying to fly!

I love the app but it's missing the feature to enter how many tickets you need. All the flight prices are for up to 4 tickets. I'm a family of 5. So it never helps me because when tickets go on sale it always tells me there are only 4 tickets available and I can't purchase .

This app is great! The only improvement I would suggest is flexible dates i.e. display the fair for multiple departure/return dates and the ability to select a flight that leaves on a Tuesday instead of a Wednesday if Tuesdays fair is lower.

It is so awesome Mohsin the best app for finding prices for flights you can find any flight anywhere at anytime you can set the Alert and its predictions are awesome

Awesome app. It helped me save over $200 in flight tickets and it also made the booking ridiculously easy and safe. Great job!

It gives only fares for the biggest companies, so the regional, low-cost airlines won't show up to save you some money.

This is one app at I actually like getting alerts from. Great deals are out there, hopper finds them.

Used to be amazing at finding and booking fares but hasn't been working in the last month. Can't find any flights at all

Thanks to hopper I've been able to afford 1-4 trips every month for nearly a year now. I wish they had insiders on car rentals, too!

Great advice on the timing to but flights. I've benefited from its analysis 3 times so far.

Don't even get notifications when it finds a better rate. Opened app randomly and it tell me there was a better rate.

I was constantly checking the app for flights for my family from ONT to AB. The app said prices were only going up and to book. We did book and the very next day the price dropped by $80. $80 x 7 people is a lot. I will not be using this app anymore.

It's easy to save hundreds. The only app I use for booking typically pricey flights.

We should have min value options for day combinations, u can refer to saudia website... It's easy to plan travel accordingly

I dnt have to stress over pricing..hopper lets me know when its the best time to buy. I love it!!
