I first tried smoking hookah (not electronic) 4 years ago with friends. It was not very tasty, the smoke was harsh, but my friends did not know how to make it better. Then I found an internet forum about hookahs and began to study the experience of other people. After month of reading forum, I already had an idea of what the heat resistance of tobacco is, what is the difference between phunnel and vortex bowl and why quick lighting coals is not the best choice. Taste of my hookahs became stably good. Then, when various tobaccos have been tried, it was interesting to do mixes, combine different flavors. On forums and social networks there were many mixes, but searching for them before every hookah session was exhausting. So I made the first version of the app with a large mixes database and ability to search through them and rate.
In the current version of HookahGusto were added new mixes from professional hookahmans and hookah companies, as well as instructions for beginners, explaining the basic principles and the subtleties necessary to prepare tasty hookahs. Homemade hookahs are as good as ones in lounge or cafe and cheap.
I really hope that this knowledge, being collected in one convenient app, will be useful for both beginner and professional hookah fans!

I learned alot from this app in one night. I have a few suggestions that if added i would most certainly give it five stars. First more brands, second you should list in order the heat resistance of each brand from high heat to low or vice versa. Other than that this app is great! My buddies always hit me up so i can set it up now thanks!

Its great for beginners and experienced smokers who would like to try new mixes. I would like to see a rating system when you press the mixes though so i have an idea how people like the mixes. Shisha isnt cheap so i wanna know before i buy 2 or 3 flavors. If that happens then id give it a 5 star

Liked how you could add flavors you have to create personalized mixes. Could use more shisha brands. Im smoking mazaya right now and it's not supported. It would also be nice if the mixes had names.

this would be excellent if there were more options for brands. I'm sure this has more to do with it licensing more than anything else. but with more brands I would definitely pay a couple of dollars for this app. I really think your onto someting. Also It would be really good if we could somehow map local stores and lounges in our area. could also have a sponsor section with online hookah retailers such as five star hookah, etc.

Overall the app has a very nice flow to it. Gives information one might want without giving unnecessary or bias point of view. I'm sure in time there will be more brands added both new, old, modern and traditional. Very solid app for current times, as I said before, once modern tobacco brands such as Haze and Starbuzz are added this app will be more widely used and appeal more to the new age smokers and those that aren't familiar with tradition smokers and Jordanian tobacco. Don't over complicate the app!

Not bad but I think it's stupid we have to share the app to unlock everything can't you just make it pay ? I'd gladly pay a dollar or two for full access. Or at least ad a English facebook share feature and the ability for people to add there own mixes they come up with

Way better than before. A lot more mixes. Their were a lot of grammatical errors but since I am an avid hookah smoker, I understood what he meant. More hookah examples would be nice and glass hookahs as well. Also with heat management and Fumari, you need to squeeze out some the juice. Great app, keep updating with flavors, Starbuzz always has new ones. Also a section with accessories would be nice, for example ice hoses, diffusers etc. Add ice to cool smoke. Great app, keep it app dev.
