예수교대한감리회

[예수교대한감리회]는 1960대 감리교회의 현대주의, 자유주의, 세속주의 사상으로
전락한 감리교회를 정화하고 요한웨슬리의 정통신앙으로 돌아가기 위해 1962년 8월에
전덕성목사를 중심으로 17명의 신안동지들과 미국자유감리회 선교사 물랙과 스나이드목사의 내한을 계기로 [한국 예수교 자유감리회]를 창립, 헌법을 제정 공포. 이를 시조로 감리교회 보수주의 노선을 따르는 정통 감리교회로 시작하여 1964년 4월 제2차 총회에서 예수교대한감리회로 개칭, 현재 예수교대한 감리회 교단으로 자리하고 있다.
