Home Chef

I have been using Home chef for 35 weeks now and I plan on continuing! Hopefully I can refer a few friends and siblings, they seem in awe when I post photos of these meals! Only thing I really ask is, mabye have a way to see the recipe cards that you receive with the meals in the app? And potentially a way to download the picture? I am converting all my photos to digital, and I am SLOWLY saving my recipes, but it takes quite a while when you have a few INCHES of recipes in a binder. Other than this, I think the service, and app, are pretty flawless!

I've received 2 boxes of meals and both have​ been delicious. I, as many others have stated, started because I was bored with my own cooking and tired of coming up with menus every week. I get 2 meals with 4 portions​ because my husband has a big appetite. The portions are s good that we usually have enough for another meal. 72$ for 4 restaurant style meals is a great value!!! Thank you so very much. I enjoy cooking again

I love the fact that they have so many options to choose from. I am allergic to nuts and I don't have to worry about nuts being in any of the boxes that are chosen for me. Everything I had to eat was four or five stars mostly five stars. And the portion sizes are generous, sometimes even a little too much for one serving. The only problem I have is that the herbs are sometimes a little wilted.

Love it!! I absolutely love home chef!I was worried because I have a son that is very picky and won't try new things, but with home chef he's actually excited about trying new foods and loves them! Thank you guys for the great food and for helping my son open up to new things finally!!

I hate hate hate trying to figure out what's for dinner! I'm sick of the same old stuff. I decided to try hone chef. I love it! So far, so good. The ingredients are fresh and the step by step instructions with pictures (for those of us who are not comfortable in the kitchen ) are awesome. Last night was shrimp and grits, tonight it's honey mustard pork chops.

I love Homechef! But what I was really looking for in this app was meal delivery push notification! I'd like to know when my box has been left outside my door without having to check the tracking page to know. Disappointed this app does not do that...yet?

Love the service and food but mobile app won't log me in. Would give 5 stars but when I try to login to app via Facebook, it says unsuccessful. this happened about a month ago. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, logging out of Facebook app...disappointing.

I adore this! I live alone and this gives me food for almost the whole week! Everyone on Facebook is jealous of the food I'm making! I've lost 20 lbs so far!

Gome chef is an amazing service! I hate grocery shopping and they have eliminated that task from my life and replaced it with fresh and exciting meals delivered to my door.

So I downloaded this app when I saw it on Instagram. I thought it was going to be easy to cancel the subscription it was not. You definitely have to call in. The food is amazing and worth every penny. I only recommend the service I'm just going to use this for a short. Not planning on canceling anytime soon.

I have a picky child, so far every recipe he has enjoyed! Food is fresh, tasty, easy to prepare and healthy! I would recommend this service too everyone looking for new recipes, varied menu, and delicious food!

Was just checking it out I've been trying several delivery services to find the right fit. I like that they have an app! Wish there was a discount to try it the first time.

I've tried others companies but Home Chef really nailed it! The carefully elaborated menu, the quality and very nice taste are present in every meal. Thank you so much! We still go out for dinner or so, but it's unbelievable...now we like better our cooking (and that's a miracle!!!!) Lol...

That app provides what I'd hope would. However, my problem with it is that I can't view cooking instructions for recipes that I already have when I have my account paused. I can look at the physical recipe, I can look it up on their site through a browser, but the app won't let me see it.

We absolutely love Home Chef you husband raves a put dinner every single time! He said I was a great cook before now I'm excellent!!!!

You guys should really add Puerto Rico, I was excited to use this app and I didn't see PR in the state option...PR is a Commonwealth/Free State but we are part of The USA....hope you read this.

You have to fill out an essay to submit feedback about their service... Just provide a feedback email please! Cancelling meals with this service is not easy... I travel for work so I've had many boxes sit spoiled on my porch because you have to cancel five days before delivery

##updated. I did not have the app downloaded when I wrote my first review. I do get email notifications about my deliveries and no problems now!! I just switched from a competitor recently. Love the food. The only issue I have is not getting emails about the delivery. I was home the day it was delivered and the delivery person just put it on our front step without knocking. Some animals tore us the box and ate two of the meat packages for the meals and scattered the rest of the ingredients around. We were able to salvage some of the item but can not make a full meal without buying the lost ingredients. Not necessarily Home Chef problem. Would just like an email when it is on its way for delivery like the last program.

Absolutely love this service. I compared it to a competitor's box and this was far better. The binder of recipes is so nice and neat and the layout of the recipes ensure that anyone can get it right, everytime. The quality of the food and the individual meal packages were perfect. The app is equally impressive making it incredibly easy to customize or skip a delivery. Overall I am very pleased and have already started spreading the word.

This app hasn't worked for me in two weeks. I've removed and reinstalled and still getting a "having trouble connecting to home chef server" error. Any ideas?

I switched to Home Chef, from a competitor, about six months ago and couldn't be happier! The app now makes it easy for me to pick my meals ahead of time as well as send my feedback after each meal. My only hope is that they actually pass my feedback to their culinary team, which is usually just a compliment and a request to see a flavor used again in the future.

I absolutely love the meals and the choices. The premeasured ingredients make it so easy. After so many years of cooking I like not having to come up with new ideas. HOWEVER, my only complaint is that in my first order everything for each meal was packaged together, great terrific. In my second order the meat and shrimp were packaged with the ice packs and did not see that until it was too late, I had thrown the ice packs in the trash. Two days had gone by. Still could make the dinners, just had to go out and buy more ground turkey and shrimp. I wish there had been some warning.

Love home chef! It is such easy meals that taste amazing. I always struggle with new ideas ...finding a good meal idea, shopping making sure to get all the necessary ingredients, then getting home to find I forgot something. This is the best solution. And the chooses are the best of all the other services I've found. I highly recommend for anyone trying to parade great meals in a short amount of time.

Love the service and the app....but I really need to have full nutrition info for my meals, and you only have the basics. When will you have something more complete?

Not crazy about the new update. Having a hard time when choosing which meals I want for the week. Cannot see the pictures and pushing the back Arrow to see more options makes me have to go back into editing for the week

Tried two other meal programs and this one is the best so far. I like i can get two days a week. The food is fab!

Easy instructions. Lots of measuring done. Delish and portion control. I am spending Less on groceries and losing weight even though I didn't expect to do either one of those two things.

WOW! Turns out I LOVE to cook... It was the shopping that I (still) don't like. Problem SOLVED!
