Travel Safe

Travel Safe is an SMS app that allows you to easily alert others when you are travelling. This is a great app for kids or anyone taking public transit alone.

You can set up TravelSafe with up to 5 numbers. When you are traveling, enter the license plate number of the car you are traveling with and click on the "I'm Traveling" button. An SMS will be sent to the numbers you set up with the location from which you are traveling.

You can also set up a code which will allow others to get your location. When someone sends an SMS to your phone with the code, your phone will automatically send back an SMS with approximate location of the phone.

Since the app uses only SMS, it does not require an expensive data connection. Perfect for a low cost Android smartphones.
