Homeboy

Shows blank map, and sets coordinates at 0.000/0.000... Please fix and I will update rating to a 5! EDIT: Geofencing was fixed and worked great. However, after recent AT&T Android update, my Samsung G7edge started getting a GeoFence error for the Homeboy app and is not working now. Is this something that can be fixed in the app itself? Can someone please investigate? I will update rating to a 5 if this can be fixed!

It was a challenge to get app connect to camera. It connected after repeating steps a couple of times. Overall design (or lack of it), UI/UX leaves much to be desired.

I cannot say enough good things about this camera and app. I order the first one back when the system was beginning on a Kickstarter. It has performed flawlessly on my sailboat for years now while moored. I have another companies advanced, stationary, full house system security system at my house 2700 miles away. I have just ordered my second Homeboy to use there, as a portable, low profile, backup device. If I was going to do that house all over again....I would use four Homeboys and save a load of money.

Best solution for security cameras.

App works perfectly...smooth and simple. Video quality gets the job done. Siren could be louder and viewing angle needs to be wider. You guys improve that and I'll buy a few more

You cannot change the sensitivity of the motion settings. It only takes 4 seconds of video and is pretty bad in low light conditions.

My only wish is that it had two way audio and live video on demand. But it's still great camera/app and the IFTTT integration puts it over the top.

I am so happy with this camera. It setup easy with my android. I mounted it in the hallway outside my apartment and the connection is strong. The battery life is amazing!

I have two of the Homeboy cameras in my house. They are easy to set up and the battery life is great. I love the integration with IFTTT. Homeboy support has always been responsive with any issues.

Walked into the house. Alarm goes off. 2 mins later app eventually realises I'm home and disarms. Was working fine before. UPDATE - HomeBoy are working on it...great response time from these guys, battery life seems good so far on the 2 cameras I have - although I've only had for a few days I keep messing with it and checking in on the house!!!

Easy to use setup & application is fantastic! IFTTT setup together is easy & fast! Cameras are great! Wish had outdoor units! But other than this is a great set of tools!

I had a little troubled with the Wi-Fi set up. Mine is a pre paid portable mobile broadband. I sent a email to homeboy support 11pm on a Friday night and by 11.15pm they replied, and by 11.45pm it was up and running. You carn't ask for more than that. Works great for security or just keeping a eye on things. Well done and thanks again.PS. With the mobile broadband device I can take it and the camera anywhere I want. I can stick it in the car whilst shopping.

I made a lot of research and this is the only camera that does just what it has to do without all those useless features that add complexity and bugs. I just need a camera that notifies me when it detects movement, with a short video, and that arms/disarms automatically based on my location. The setup is fast and easy, then you can forget about it. With almost all others cameras you have to arm/disarm manually, which is a deal breaker for me. Also no cables means you can place it anywhere.

Product seems amazing but more important is the Service from Homeboy. Excellent! App so far very good.

The application and technology work beautifully together. The recent update allowing videos to be saved on a mobile device just makes the entire technology / software package even sweeter. This is a keeper! LG g2 LS 980

This app and hardware combination are the perfect home monitoring solution. The camera can be repositioned at will, with no fuss. Alerts are fully configurable, video clips shown on demand. I love it.

the app is a little better than useless. loses connection to wireless camera. camera never shuts up. triggers are broken. asking for a refund.
