Looking for nice new 2br house RENTAL
As an owner, using this app and on your search engine without a doubt the worse website/apps ever used. Never pay a subscription to join this motley crew. Jokers Sign in on a device, they forget instantly. Sign in again x3 they lock you out of your account. Then u only unlock accounts on week days. Then you lose bookings. DREADFUL
Can not edit pricing on the owner calendar. I'm consistently amazed how bad this app has been. For a company who is attempting to compete with Airbnb they have a long way to go. First step would be to fire the app software developers. Inexcusable
This app really is AWFUL. Everytime I try to access my booking it either says 'unauthorised' or 'there is a connection error.' I've tried deleting and reinstalling but it's the same everytime. How am I supposed to manage my bookings?? C**P app.
Man kann im Terminkalender keine Termine blocken, sondern nur Preise ändern. Wenn ich auf eine Nachricht antworte, ist die Antwort im Anschluss nirgends mehr sichtbar. Somit muss ich doch alles was von unterwegs wichtig wäre, zu Hause vom Laptop machen. Erfüllt für mich nicht den Sinn einer mobilen App.
Since the recent update I am unable to edit my prices from the app
The primary purpose I downloaded this app was so that I could quickly update the calendar & block out dates if I get any bookings from other sites. This is NOT possible on the tablet/phone app. In addition it has sent automatic decline/unavailable messages when I was simply trying to reply to a guest inquiry. Will be uninstalling since it's basically useless. What owner app doesn't allow you to even update your calendar?!
This always gives me an error message. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same thing. Horrible app! It makes it so I have to use my computer not my phone.

Impossible to navigate
It would be nice if there was only one app to use for guests and hosts instead of one app for each. Also, there are a lot of things I can't access on my app that I have to go to the computer to change. For example. Many of the property details can only be changed from the computer. Thanks for your written! Keep improving your site and apps! You can catch up to AirBnb!
Es una aplicación realmente mala. Me ha mezclado las conversaciones de dos personas. No se entiende bién el funcionamiento. No hay forma de cambiar la foto de perfil y otras muchas opciones. Casi todos las personas me preguntan por el precio por lo que no les debe aparecer muy claro.
This app has always been buggy but with the newest updated it is unusable. Airbnb is better anyways.
It is very buggy and never works right
Freezes out constantly, system error all the time. Not user friendly. I signed up as a host yesterday, the app will not let me change pricing as system error shows up and no way to block out dates after having my unit booked out using other rental platforms. Overall, not impressed at all with the experience so far. *1 week in, overall this app is downright garbage, I have a new Samsung phone and it doesnt work at all*
Have not been able to connect via android for several months when you guys changed something. It now says, "oh, no. We weren't able to connect. unauthorized, please try again". My husband's phone and my computer still let me access. Pain in the butt right now trying to answer guests. Thanks for any help.
App seems to be automatically pre-approving and sending payment requests when I'm merely trying to reply to an inquiry with a custom text message!
I get notifications that someone has sent me a communication, but then I can't access the message or reply to the message.

I keep getting an error message saying unable to connect. It says I have no messages in my inbox with his a lie. Parts of it open and parts of it do not. It is not the same as it used to be. Why did you upgrade this if you cannot make it work successfully?
This app had limited functionality to begin with, and now with a recent upgrade, it's practically unusable!! Keep getting the "cannot connect" error message, and other problems other reviews have mentioned. Airbnb app is like a 1000 times better. Cmon homeaway, FIX THIS!!
It is not working cant get any mesaages.. tells me unauthorized errors and cant connect to network.. i have to use the internet to check on my rental more then I should. This app is disappointing. Samsung S7 edge.
I don't know what they did but all the sudden with an upgrade I do not get any notifications that renters have message me. This is completely unreliable. Got a message from a developer saying to respond to an e-mail but even the developers can't get information over to me, as there is no email to respond to. This still does not work and the development team is just horrendous. This is been going on for months now. It still doesn't work. Written October 25th 2017.
It will not open at all, keep receiving an error. like everything else with HomeAway they will not listen to the person that has to use it. It used to work a year ago

No, the HomeAway Owner app absolutely does not work at all. It always reports that I have no messages in my inbox when I open it when in fact I was prompted by VRBO that there had been inquiries and transactions made in my account recently, The VRBO Owner app on my Samsung Android Note 5 mobile phone also does not work on my Samsung Note 5. I have to access VRBO from my laptop.
It doesn't work efficiently. I have updated prices and it takes a long while to reflect changes. I always have to access the website using my PC to make sure things are correct. I wrote a lot of info on the description of my listed property and all those texts do not show up on their french, german, etc. websites. I have reported the error and I will have to wait 3 to 4 days of the problem will be solved. ???? it's not reliable. Disappointed. They need a new app developer. Seriously.
Notifications stopped coming through. I had come to rely on them. Missed out on over £800 of bookings at a quiet time of year as a result.
It is the worst nightmare I've had for sometime. I can't login to my account because they don't send the security code for two-factor authentication! People contact me and enquire about the property while I am powerless to reply! At least deactivate/unlist the property! Ironically when I contact the CS they tell me we can't help unless you provide that bloody code which they don't send!!! DO ME A FAVOUR AND UNLIST THE PROPERTY, I TRULY REGRET IT

I have lost my £100 Damage Deposit via this app. The Make a Claim was completed and the app confimed to me at the top of the screen that I would receive refunds within 2-3 days'. A few days' later having notified the Rentee of my actions I received an e mail advising that the Rentee had been returned their Damage Deposit. I was left to pick up the costs !
It doesn't work like it supposed to. Every time I go to inbox it says unauthorized I can NEVER respond/reply to inquiries through the app, its very frustrating.
Compared to airbnb, this app seems years behind. I get less than 10% off my reservations from vrbo. The other 90%+ are off airbnb. If home away wants to be competitive, they need to overhaul this app fast.

Thw reason I have the app is so I can respond to a prospective guest when not near a desktop. The mobile app does not allow you to respond to a prospective guest who merely makes an inquiry. The app instantly preaapproves the guest for booking and sends a payment request out. First of all, I don't want to preappove instantly. Secondly, this preapproval blocks the days on my calendar of other rental sites like AirBnB. The only way to respond to an inquiry without preapproval is to decline the guest. Terrible app, have contacted customer service multiple times to fix and nothing gets done.
