Used it on my previous Android phone and worked OK. But not working on new versions of Android. Can see the WiFi but can't connect via the app. Error - Android would not let us save the changes.

Downgraded from 4 to 1 because I get tired of the message that says "I can't do anything you want because Android is busy." As if Android is supposed to do nothing? Feh!

I can't connect trough the app or save. I have Samsung S7. I used the app for years and loved it but now it's not working. I can see connections but can't save or connect to a new one trough the app. Any help anyone?

Just wanted to address a problem that some people experienced with this app. Like some others, I was ready to conclude that the app doesn't effectively blacklist certain APs. Initially, my phone didn't so I was really disappointed. After some poking around, I found that if you altered an advanced wifi setting on your device, the blacklisting function will work. Specifically, the advanced option entitled "Avoid Poor Connections" must be checked. Apparently, this allows this app to flag (blacklisted) APs so that your device won't try to connect to them. So if you encounter a problem, try making a change in the advanced settings on your device.

I dont understang how to use it Please tell me how to use this app and get connected to secured network

Working good so far. Got rid of that stupid xfinity ad, for one thing...

Works fairly well, although there's no way of telling it to give priority to 5GHz networks over 2GHz if they have the same SSID. Can't handle EAP-type logins (Eg: Eduroam, where a username _and_ password) are required) It'd be nice if this could be added.

Cannot access settings. UI also a bit clunky.

Will not stay connected to higher chosen priority AP.

Great app and using it on all my devices I would like to see a function to remember a wifi for a hour before deleting it or connect manually only. similair to the drive-by that is 24 hours.

T70%
by T####:

Would like to be able to switch automatically between mobile data network and favourite wifis.

Can't store home AP on Moto Droid mini. Entering pass and setting as home not work. In live screen see my AP as unknown, but on remembered tab can see my AP as stored but without signal bars on it. After that - cannot reconnect after disconnection from my AP. On Nexus 7 2013 - works fine.

App is okay, would be better if it automatically marked walled AP as 'walled' and disconnected to keep searching for a working internet connection. I like the priorities option it currently has, only other change it needs is, when an AP is marked as 'do not connect' it should delete it from the system list as well. Phone reconnects to 'disabled' AP because it is still in the system list. Signal threshold would be nice too. Point of this app is to find and connect to open wifi that has internet connectivity, if I'm hanging on to an AP with very weak signal that is barely usable, i would like to let go and keep searching for an alternative. Thanks

I tried various rules. Still connecting to those public wifi that I wanted to ban.

I bought it

I only use this occasionally, when I need to connect away from home, so it's kind of annoying in that it saves bad APs to my phone's system list, and then when I use Wi-Fi without the app, it tries to automatically connect to bad APs. It would be better if it remembered bad APs internally to the software itself and didn't save them to the system list. I know I can use it all the time as a service to replace the built-in connection system, but I don't want it constantly connecting to any random AP it can see, until I've found a way to safely tunnel all my traffic through my home or a VPN service.

Great when out running errands. Saves battery by allowing me to rely on Wifi more than 3g.

Love the "drive-by" option...was even able 2 find a network by a homie's house called: 'FBI Surveillance Van'...we still believe he be under investigation...?

This is the best app for connecting automatically to open wifi acces points. Always picks it up quickly without having to manually scan for it. Others don't. It woked perfectly on my Xperia X8 and now on my Galaxy W too.

This application is no longer working properly since updating to ICS (4.0.3). It was working perfectly with Gingerbread though.

M70%
by M####:

I bought this in the hope that it would prevent my phone from connecting to the plethora of click-walled or pay-walled connections near me when my network was available. It doesn't. Even when it identifies that the connection is limited, and that a remembered non-limited network is available, it doesn't switch connections.

This was just what I was looking for. It seems that the developers web site lacks forums, feedback or bug reports facilities. Following some feedback and notes. 1) Would like a batten/menu option/other to immediately remove all driveby to clear the wifi network list from clutter. 2) a method to clear out all wifi networks in my list (at the moment I have allot of networks in my list some seem to be duplicates or multiplicates of the same network, may have been produced by other network management programs

Brilliant app now that it can run as a service. Suggested improvement: make the notification option per rule.

Latest rev. indeed can click through the annoying "Click here to connect to Internet" pages. Runs as a service, meaning connects to open and configured access points in the background. Excellent software. Recommend

It's not that special. You phone already tell everything it does but better.

I have an Archos 70 tablet and this program is not the fastest at auto login.I have to click on the program to get it to login.still i like it

I just tested this on a trip to Copenhagen where I had no data connection. I actually tried several types. This one tended to work the best. I'm not saying it was flawless, but on the whole it made me very happy. I could exclude certain networks and preference others. Long story short...I was able to write some texts and emails and set some pics to upload. I took a walk and when I got to where I was going, they had all been sent somewhere along the way. This type of program is best used in this kind of way.
