The geo location based app/guide „Imperial Palace Hofburg Vienna“ is interacitve, multimedia-based, multi-lingual and barrier-free. The innovative design integrates local touristic partners within the app of the „Burghauptmannschaft Österreich“.
Multimedia experience
The App provides access to culture for the whole family. Best Storytelling and detail buttons for interactive navigation within the pictures.
Offline functionality
And the App/Guide works offline. After download – no further internet connection is necessary. Available for Android iOS and as Web-App for Windows, PC, VR-glasses and Touch-Screens.
Social Media
It offers a direct social media link. Share and post your stories on Social media channels. The last viewed picture is automatically uploaded in your account.
Perfect orientation
The user‘s position and all cultural objects are shown in th offline map via GPS. By touching a highlight-button on the map you gain direct access to all highlights.
Listing of partners and sponsors
Partners present themselves directly within the App and in the offline map with a GEO-tag. By touching it you get direct access to the partner´s contact informations.
Access-codes as unique marketing tool
Access-code-cards allow your clients and partners direct and free access to all app/guides – a premium give-away.
Guide Hofburg Wien
Start at the Schweizer Tor at the oldest part of the Hofburg Vienna with Schatzkammer and Hofburgkapelle of Hapsburg. Via Josefsplatz you reach the Stallburg, passing the Prunksaal of the National Library with Prinz Eugen´s library, reach the Augustinerkirche with the tomb designed by Canova. The collection Batliner in the Albertina contains impressionism: Monet, Renoir, Degas, Cézanne and Toulouse-Lautrec, Braque, Derain and Matisse. Expressionism: Kirchner, Schmidt-Rottluff, Kandinsky and Nolde and Chagall. Surrealism with Max Ernst and Magritte. Pablo Picasso with 40 works, Giacometti and Bacon. Albertina, famous as grafic collection: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Dürer, Rubens and Rembrandt. 20th century; Schiele, Klimt, Kokoschka, Wotruba, Warhol and Kiefer, architects as Borromini, Fischer von Erlach, Wagner and Loos. Continue to Burggarten with Palmen- and Schmetterlingshaus, Weltmuseum, Haus der Geschichte, Papyros-Collection, Rüstkammer and Ephesos Museum. The Heldenplatz with Burgtor and Maria Theresia´s Leopoldinischer Trakt. The inner ward is flanked by Amalien- and the Reichskanzleitrakt: Silberkammer, Sisi Museum and in the passage to the Michaelerplatz the Spanische Hofreitschule. Across the Ringstraße: Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien and the Naturhistorisches Museum. Museumsquartier: Sammlung Leopold and mumok.
