At least trim your loops so they fit! You can't have 8.2 beat patterns and try to make them sound right with a 7.9 beat pattern. Re-cut your loops to all divide by 2 exactly. Then put them back together and you might have something happening. It doesn't take more than a few seconds to get the sense that the patterns don't quite match up.
