Desperately needs material UI update

Works flawlessly for me. Samsung Galaxy S5 and Windows 10.

Great software with recent improvements that make it hands down the best VLC control software.

It is a very good app. Just seat in the sofa and browse through your library and play. Worth's the money.

It took some doing to get the free version to see my VLC (I had to specify the IP address for my laptop) but it works so well now I bought the upgrade. Now when I watch MLB.TV via mlbviewer and VLC I can easily stop and restart the feed, and make it full screen again all without touching my mouse or trackpad. Plus I got the closed captions working! This app is so worth the price.

Love the app .. still .. :) Still giving it 5 stars even though the playlist management has deteriorated! Please make removal of items on playlist easier by allowing multiple selects?

It was worth 100% spending to have the premium. No lag excellent performance and I love being able to browse my computer files from my tablet!!

Position and volume should be more accessible, not buried in settings. Also, lockscreen widget does not function....

Extremely well made app with easy to follow instructions. Very easy to set up and use.

App works great for watching movies on the computer and I like the dark colored interface when you're watching movies and lights are off

!!!!! But the paid version is well worth the money. That is if you use VLC often.

Works like a charm. A feature im missing is to be able to manually add subsitles like in VLC.

Functional and fantastic

Absolutely fantastic - just like everything VLC has done! I've been using their player for PC for years and there's nothing else that comes close - it'll chew up anything you throw at it with ease and has an incredible amount of functionality. This remote makes for a wonderful easy life - exceptionally easy to set up and use (took me under 2 mins from start to finish) and fun to play around with. Great work chaps!

Personally I am still biased toward the old layout/design, however it must be said that the app does what its supposed to without any problems. I do wish the "position and volume" and "DVD navigation" had there own screen, like the original layout, but that's just a personal gripe, overall the app works well.

This app is definitely worth paying for. It was simple to set up on my Linux box. It's great being able to browse the .flacs I've made from my 900+ CD collection so easily.

The favorites folders don't work, fix please. Now work well. Thanks!

Love the call monitoring! Invaluable and a must have if your chained to your phone and have to answer your phone.... otherwise, turn your phone off and enjoy the movie with another APP that has built in mouse function. Bottom line is that if you add built in Wi-Fi mouse function it would be a 5-star rating. Also, the old version used to auto-connect when launched and took 3 seconds for total control.... the newer versions require twice the time and you have to select even if you only have one computer????

When it works it's great. I've had to redo the setup twice now. This time it will not work no matter what I do. I'm guessing this has something to do with the update. Not being blocked by firewall. I even uploaded the vlc setup helper and did all that ridiculousness and still doesn't work. It worked fine before if a little glitch. Now it's useless. Thanks guys

I wish Netflix had something like this. Or anything else really. This app is so fantastic and does what it's supposed to. The paid version to be able to browse files is so worth it. Only annoying part is i have a really annoying notification from it that won't go away.

I rarely give 5 stars for anything but this is just great. Very stable and smooth. I use vlc a lot so having this remote app makes my life much easier.

Of all the apps I own, I use this one more than any other by far. The support is great, the price is great, so simple a child could implement it, and they are constantly listening to user feedback and updating the app to reflect those opinions. It was worth every penny, and I would have paid more.

I've tried just about every remote app on play store and this is app is top dog! Love the UI, love the UX! Great job

Seriously just made my life so much more convenient.

Works perfectly, and has some awesome features like "find in IMDB." One bummer is you can't change audio devices. But otherwise perfect.

Would have got 5 except just recently the directory listing is sluggish and it returns to the top after returning to the parent folder. The developer responds to emails and is very helpful and friendly. Still highly recommend this app.

Thought about this a while. There's no difference between the paid version and the fee. So that's dishonest marketing in my books for one. Second, the free version worked better and was more stable. Pretty disappointed. Don't waste your money.
