hmv music

I'm going to support HMV both digitally and in-store for as long as I live. Talking about the app, great design with great features and a great catalogue. My only complaint is that the tiles are flashing when swiping through the catalogue. Otherwise, I have no problems with it and I use it daily!

After talking to HMV customer services I was told to try this app. Downloaded and will not allow me to sign in. Can not be bothered to get in touch with customer services again.

Hmv has actual stores and online....I will keep supporting them forever...Go HMV

This could be a excellent app if not for its painfully slow download speed and trouble signing in..the downloads are great when you get them and better than the likes of amazon littered with brakes...just get the speed this app operates at sorted 1hour+ to download a 10 track album is ridiculous.

So frustrated will not let me sign in with my original password, and to make things worse will not accept the the reset password either so I cannot access my music or download any new music. Not happy.

Wasn't a fan of the way other 'providers' don't allow you to have the file to play elsewhere after you've bought it but HMV allows this! I can now play through different players. Thanks.

They never learn over charging nearly killed them and theyre still doing it downloads are cheaper anywhere else.

Hangs when downloading then you have to reboot the phone to get it to stop

Can't download music. When I hit complete purchase it says cannot purchase basket.

Use the website if you want a trouble free experience buying your MP3s. The app is buggy. Fails to authorize purchases and 2nd attempt at downloading the same track results in being double billed for the same item. Unacceptable behaviour for an app that has access to my credit card. Music player also stutters and skips when starting a new song then plays ok

Deleted due to excessive use of battery power when running in the background even when not used for weeks and appears to be shut down.

Everytime I attempt to sign in, it says that I have made an error in either the email or password and, when try to reset my password and put my email address in to be sent a step by step guide, it says that my email 'cannot be found'. But , when I sign in online with the exact same email and password on the actual website it works just fine.

Why is there no app for Google nexus 6 when I can get it for Sony xperia

App works OK on my Sony z3+. However, I have selected 2 albums, paid for them and download to phone, except they are no where to be found. I emailed for support, recieved a reply but now about a week and NO assistance. I think I'll purchase my music elsewhere and I have deleted this app. The Amazon app works a treat for music purchase (downloads direct to my phone)!

Had to uninatall as it doesn't take any payment method I try. It's now a rather pointless app.

I love this app it is absoloutely fabulous

Downloaded app today and have used with no problems.

I must've been the last one to have realised that HMV had an app lol. Used it a few times since I installed it, and found it easy to use. I am however surprised that Wayne Hussey's album, hasn't been included to download when it was given a great review and album of week by my local HMV store.

Very good app a bit slow but good

The one star ratings on here made me a bit worried but as a Canadian i only have so many mp3 store choices. Within 5 minutes i had made an account, searched three albums and added them to my wish list. This app is a great store front and seems to also have other features like song search. I rated it 5 after my first purchase, its near flawless.

Can't even log in. Not worth it. Don't waste your time getting it.

The UI is straightforward, making it very easy for people to search for, listen to and buy music digitally. A long time coming maybe, but certainly worth the wait. The result is a well thought-out app that provides good searching capabilities, including image searching and track recognition. Whether you are looking to simply sample album tracks or buy music outright, this is the go-to app for digital downloads on the move. If track times could be added as in the previous incarnation then it would be perfect

I go to log into paypal to pay and my virtual keyboard fails to appear

Tryed to download but keeps telling me that i have an eror.

Can't use gift vouchers to buy online! Ridiculous and if could give a zero rating due to this, I would.
