A history of recent walks. Up to 50 walks are retained. Tapping an entry on this page brings up
the associated map. Walks will age off over time with the 50 newest walks being retained.

Map ( Earth Icon )

A map of the current walk or the most recent walk if no walk is active.
( enabled as soon as the first map coordinate is available )

Map menu supports the following views: Street, Map and Hybrid.

Map updates automatically as you walk.

The slowest 10 percent of the total distance walked is highlighted with an red/orange line. This identifies
places in the walk where pace has not been maintained.

Charts ( Chart Icon )

Charts are available as soon as you have two or more walks.

The charts will display bar graphs where each bar represents a walk.

Use the charts to check trends in pace and distance over time.

Generally a good app. But I was having a lot of trouble with Calibration. Calibrating the steps for a mile using the 100 step method. 4 attempts gave me different readings from 1970 to 2800 ? Tried carrying 2 phones and had figures up to 600 steps different on the first attempt. 1800+ to 2400+. Received an email from Michael Stam, who said a future update could improve the calibration process. Also, to find out how many steps I walk over a mile and put in manually. For quickness, I counted my steps over a kilometer and multiplied by 1.609. Maybe slightly more accurate than 100 yds/mtrs and multiplying? Apart from that a simple to use app. Clever people app writers ?

I love this app. I was about to spend a wad of cash on a GPS distance tracker when I came across this little gem. I have clocked the distance tracking with my cars odometer and it is accurate to within about 15 feet. All I need is to know how far I've walked, but can't wait to explore all it's features. We'll done. And to the few who have said that it loses connection to satellites or that it is not accurate, the problem is with your phone, not the app.

I had this on my HTC One and loved it! I have just recently updated to a HTC Ten. Now, when I try to use it, then try to minimize it to use other things on my phone(i.e. camera, music, etc.) this app stops. If it didn't do that, I would love to give five stars.

Worked ok for several weeks. Stopped working after "update." Developer didn't respond to emails. After fifth reinstall it started "working," but extremely not accurate. A walk of a mile is shown as 4 miles. It even shows me crossing a lake on foot. Well, I might think I walk on water, but come on, guys, fix this app! P.S. The developer says he replied with "suggestions." Yep, he did reply with boiler plate suggestions blaming GPS and he replied AFTER I posted this.

Generally good and does what I want which is just record my route on a map. However taking photos while tracking my route seems to throw it off and the resulting route is garbage with grossly inaccurate mapping or time recording. This only seems to be an issue if I have location tagging turned on for the camera which is a shame as I like to know where I was when I took a photo, especially if I took it whilst out walking!

Have used this app for 6 months, love it. The only time it misbehaved was when I used battery saver. It became erratic and totally useless. Fortunately I discovered the problem right away and enjoying it w/o issues. Just enough info for my needs. Thanks!

I am legally blind and I do a lot of walking this app helps me figure out how far I have gone how many calories I have burned I am very happy with it. Even for a blind guy it's very use to use. Thank you very much if I could give you a higher rating I would

Does exactly what I want it to do. Measures how far I've walked and how long I've taken. Never checked the accuracy but seems close enough to what I'd expect. Even better measuring if you remember to turn it off when you stop the activity, such as getting in the car after a walk!

Hi. I actually liked this appbut many times I tried to use it and it stopped working. It keeps displaying this message gps check this application requires gps in order to function properly. GPS is not currently enabled. It actually is . How can i fix this??? It's very frustrating !!!

Q70%
by Q####:

1.3.7 may have "fixed export issues" but exported GPX files fail to open in either Google Earth or EasyGPS. A shame, 'cos the tracking part of the app seemed exactly what I wanted - simple to use, track a walk.

X70%
by X####:

Downloaded this app just to check the distance I had walked and got a lot more than I expected . Love the satellite tracking, distance, speed and also the history of all the walks plus other info . If you are serious about keeping track of your movements this is the application for you and it's FREE

Q70%

Simple straightforward walking app (does exactly what it says on the tin!) Tried others but to complicated with too much jargon, so went back to this one which is very easily manageable that doesn't eat up battery usage.

Q70%
by Q####:

I walked six laps around our property and got a result of 2.05 miles. I then turned around and walked 6 laps in the opposite direction and got a result of 2.23 miles a difference of .18 miles. That is just under two tenths of a mile difference from walking just two miles. For me that is not very accurate maybe it will be fine for some. To be fair GPS is not all that accurate, so it might not be the app developers fault I really don't know.

GPS tracking is poor. Inaccurate distance recording when compared to other similar apps.

Q70%
by Q####:

Fantastic simple app to use, I just need some advice on calibrating steps as accurately as possible.... I calibrated the steps 4 times and had different results, some were far apart.... I'm guessing this has something to do with walking pace... Would I be better say doing it 3 times and working out the average and set it as the average? .... Either way time distance and route are more important to me and these seem to be spot on..... Definitely worth a download... App size is great also...

I loaded it on my DROID RAZR M yesterday and went for a walk in the woods today. This APP was self installing and uncomplicated to access. It comes up on a screen with a button which states START and another which states STOP. We walked for about an hour up and down trails and then recalled our trip. It overlaid on a map showing the paths we took, counted our steps, estimated our miles/kilometers and gave a rough estimate of calories burned. It's a pretty nice program for free.

It would be useful if it recorded stops separately and removed these from the pace calculations. Export function doesn't seem to work on Samsung 7

This ap is fantastic. Simple to use with no logins and collates so much info. I have a mini samsung and the graph data text is too large and overlaps itself, but thats easy to overlook when the rest is so good. It gives me more than I hoped I'd find.

Q70%
by Q####:

It is very simple and easy. I wish there was a paid version since some of the ads are spammy. Luckily, the ads are very small.

T70%

Works when no data reception. Quick loading. No fuss data capture. Wonderfully simple, just what I wanted. Mapping is not real time so don't use for navigation.

N70%
by N####:

Exactly what I wanted. Only problem is that the options in "settings" don't do anything, but that doesn't really matter to me.

Q70%
by Q####:

The best app for me in the smart phone. I am a regular walker for nearly 25years. Wish this app was invented long long ago !

Q70%
by Q####:

Very nice and simple to use. My only complaint is that it switches to landscape mode even when auto rotate is turned off.

Q70%
by Q####:

Sorry, the only thing this app managed track with any degree of accuracy was the time between starting and stopping the walk. (Samsung S5)

V70%

Simple to use, works very well, has a small memory footprint. I don't know what else you could ask for it.

Y70%

On my phone the three dots in the upper right corner are not there so I cannot adjust settings. Aside from this the app is great - I like how simple it is

Q70%

Everytime I try to calibrate my steps it fails. I am not sure what the problem is.

Q70%
by Q####:

Most accurate app I have found. The screen position, like other apps is slow to load. :(

K70%

This app actually does what it is supposed to do! It kept track of all my walks and even showed the path I had taken.

Just downloaded this app. I have used it twice. Totally love it!

Loved it on HTC velocity. On LG g4 the map doesnt show at all. The world icon is greyed out. Waiting eagerly for the next update so that I can use the app again.

Q70%
by Q####:

Love it. I'm not into steps taken or calories burnt which is available on the app. I use it more for time and distance and it is perfect. Love the way you can see the route you have taken in so many formats. Very easy to use.

S70%

Outstanding! It does exactly what I want in recording walks. No signups, no cloud sync, no sales pitches, no social components, no workout or nutrition plans. Recording routes on maps is a nice feature.

Q70%
by Q####:

I would give this app a 4-star except if you stop for a short time without pausing it maps tracking spikes invalidating the length of your walk.

K70%
by K####:

Have only used this twice but it works fine. Only small enhancement I would like to see is a share to social media feature.

Q70%
by Q####:

Thanks for an app that doesn't require permission to all my data.

Q70%
by Q####:

Has exactly what I needed - and a map!

Q70%
by Q####:

This is a nice simple app that does exactly what I need. The only feature I would like is a voice announcement feature. (every km/mile or based on time)

K70%
by K####:

Use it all the time when hiking, gives good information and love how you can track the walk retrospectively. Wouldn' t be without it and it easily beats the other aps I have tried.

Q70%

Brilliant! A clean and tidy app that does exactly what I want, without any fuss. Great that you don't need to sign up.
