Il ne fait aucun doute que l'apparition d'un "prophète" où que ce soit sur notre terre est un événement susceptible d'amener rapidement son lot de troubles et d'agitations.
Si vous êtes les parents d'un enfant gravement malade et que l'on vous certifie que sa guérison passe par un simple visite au "prophète", il est probable que vous ferez le déplacement. Dans le cas de Simon KIMBANGU le bruit circulait même qu'il pouvait ressusciter les morts. Si insensé que cet espoir puisse être, il faut se rappeler que la réputation de Jésus Christ a été aussi en partie construite sur ce type de performance inimaginable. Alors, si les hommes blancs croient que c'est possible pourquoi est-ce qu'un "Homme de Dieu" noir ne pourrait pas lui aussi réaliser ce genre d'exploit?
Le problème pour un nouveau prophète c'est que les autorités religieuses et administratives qui sont déjà en place ont rarement intérêt à voir se développer son audience. Pour elles c'est une question de crédibilité et donc de survie. Quand la survie est en jeu il y a peu de limites à la réaction d'autoprotection. Jésus Christ, trahi et livré par les autorités religieuses de son temps, a finalement été exécuté par les responsables de l'autorité administrative occupante. On sait aujourd'hui que cette réaction extrême n'a rien arrêté, bien au contraire, et l'on ne peut pas ne pas rester frappé par le parallélisme des méthodes et des résultats à quelques deux mille ans d'intervalle.
Ce Tome 2, qui est la suite logique du Tome 1, regroupe les chapitres 2 à 8 du document secret de l'administration coloniale belge sur le Kimbanguisme. Un troisième Tome reprend l'entièreté du rapport d'enquête réalisé entre janvier et février 1925 par le Procureur Général VOISIN.

If you are the parents of a seriously ill child and we assure you that his recovery is through a simple visit to the "prophet", it is likely that you will make the trip. In the case of Simon Kimbangu noise even circulated that he could raise the dead. So foolish that hope may be, it must be remembered that the reputation of Jesus Christ has been partly built on this type of unimaginable performance. So if white men believe that it is possible why a "man of God" black could not also achieve such feat?
The problem for a new prophet is that religious and administrative authorities which are already in place have rarely seen interest grow its audience. For them it is a question of credibility and thus survival. When survival is at stake there are few limitations to the reaction tamper. Jesus Christ, betrayed and delivered by the religious authorities of his time, was finally executed by the officials occupying administrative authority. We now know that this extreme reaction has stopped anything, quite the contrary, and we can not not to remain struck by the parallelism of methods and results in some two thousand years apart.
This Volume 2, which is the logical continuation of Volume 1 includes Chapters 2 to 8 of the secret document of the Belgian colonial administration on the Kimbanguism. A third Tome takes the entire investigation report carried out between January and February 1925 by the Attorney General NEIGHBOUR.
