About e-Cheque Drop Box
Electronic Cheques (e-Cheques) is a Hong Kong financial infrastructure providing a secured yet convenient method of online payment. Complementing the traditional paper cheuqes, the e-Cheque infrastructure is aiming to further promote e-commerce to the next level.
The e-Cheque Drop Box system, drawing analogy to the traditional paper cheque drop boxes, is to facilitate deposit of e-Cheques by the bank customers. The e-Cheque recipients (the payees) need to first register with the e-Cheque Drop Box system before the e-Cheque presentment service becomes available to them.
When depositing an e-Cheque, the payee has the opportunity to choose, from a predefined list of bank accounts, the preferred account to deposit the funds. Funds become available to the payee upon successful settlement, and the payee will be notified via emails.
The e-Cheque Drop Box system currently support e-Cheques in Hong Kong dollar (HKD), Chinese Yuan (RMB) and the American dollar (USD).

Does the app provide notifications when an e cheque is successfully cleared? Or just when it's been rejected, returned or canceled? How about email notifications: I received an email notification upon a presentment, but will I be notified on email when it's been cleared? Or just when it's been returned rejected or canceled?

This app saves your actual password on device for login, rather than using an access token based scheme. Avoid.

Is it possible to upload a scan pdf of a paper cheque? If no then this is useless since so many banks do not offer yet service to issue echeque + if someone gives me a paper cheque then I have to go to look for a machine to deposit it. Will be useful to find in your FAQ the answer to that question and will be useful if yes we can deposit a scan pdf of a traditional paper cheque, that will be responsible act to limit carbon emissions in HK (we need it).
