About HKeTransport
This application provides one-stop service of point to point public transport route enquiry for pre-trip planning. The public transport services include Rails, Buses, Green Minibus, Ferry, Tram, Cross Boundary Coach to Huanggang, Buses to Ma Wan and Discovery Bay with adult fare information and elderly fare concession.
A new walking route search is introduced for Causeway Bay, which is integrated with the public transport route enquiry. The suggested walking route on map indicates pedestrian crossing facilities (e.g. signalized crossings) and information on pedestrian streets.
Features include:
1. one stop public transport services route search
2. adult fare and elderly fare concession
3. regular and overnight services
4. sorting routes by number of interchanges, fares, estimated journey time or mode
5. individual route, special services and nearby routes search
6. real-time traffic information (CCTV snapshots, speed map panels, cross-harbour journey times and traffic speed map)
7. estimated time of arrival for route option on tram and certain franchised bus routes (required to enable "Current Location" on mobile phone)
8. elderly mode with specific user interface with simple operation, voice output, point of interest and fare concession
9. support app accessibility design

This App requires Android 4.0.3 or later and runs on screen resolution of 480 x 800 or above for better viewing.

"Elderly mode" not available on LG V400. On another device where it works, it is rather sluggish and also not that elderly-friendly.

I am not elder but I like the interface in the elder mode better, but the elder mode only shows the concession fare instead of standard fare

The old version with first page of searching map is good and straight forward but the design of latest one with large font and selection first page for regular or elder user is very troublesome and stupid!

本身幾中意隻app(着重功能) 但轉新版之後對個新介面負評 同長者模式差唔多係當所有用家都係老人嗎？ 成個介面水準完全係大學生project一個星期趕出黎交功課嘅貨仔 設計outdate 我反而對上一版嘅介面仲有好感過哩版 真係好奇係請render定係自己做 認真對個介面失望

I've been using this app of few years but the latest version 3.3 version is the worst. 1. The regular mode fonts are too big, I thought I click into the elderly mode by accident but it's not. THRY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. What's the reason for making two different modes for choose then? 2. It is too slow and unstable. For every click it takes time to load. And after few clicks it just autoquit! It's never happened at the old version. 3. Need to click on to search from the map. It's annoying. I have no idea what the reason to update it. Totally waste of time.

Lack of cleared and easy reading road blocking news for TST on 1 Oct today which is just a simple needs for transportation news but it doesn't offer. Old comment: Sometimes the map doesn't load during zooming to a level, unless the map is dragged again. No short walking feature after getting off bus which is simply a good transport too rather keep changing buses. Transport suggestions are inappropriate to the actual environment that turns suggestions to be impractical. Wrong transport suggestion time calculation. Development ceased and so no more improvement.

有啲路線或巴士編號無提供，平時坐開先知道，反而呢個 app 初出時路線及巴士編號就齊好多，只係 ui 比較難用，第二代已經開始唔齊，可能又係政府特色之一

100% the best and most important app you'll ever need in HK. But I've got one issue that keeps reoccurring. Namely... I can search the two places I want, and it brings back a result- but when I try to click on a specific route for more details it just crashes. E.g. I searched from Stanley to Wan Chai... It told me the 260... Then I clicked on it... And it crashed. It happens all the time.

What I have been looking for. Current limitations: 1. Clicking current location causes app to crash always. 2. Hong Kong is a nice place to walk in. Many times walking makes journey time from one point to another point shorter. This app should not restrict anyone walking to a mere 400m. 3. Most users are going to be based in hong Kong, hence the app can safely use Google maps (or google map tiles)

Previously can zoom into the map. But now it will not zoom in. Also previously when view the detail of a route, it will show on the map where to get off. Now only can see a full map of the route,so unsure the exact location to get on and off. Also no longer can pin the A and B location.

一離開版面立即清空所有，正搜索的全消失要從頭輸入。點對點搜索極為不便，點按地圖輸入經常失效，搜索結果不可儲存，只能逐一開啟後再儲存單一航線。

This app is outstanding and very helpful. However, every single time you load it... EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It asks you to complete a survey. But it can take up to 5 minutes for the message to load when using mobile internet. I cannot vocalize just how frustrating that is from an app that should be quick and easy to use. It is actually quicker to go to the hketransport website directly than to use this app. I've done the survey once. DONT ASK ME AGAIN, please.

There's a direct bus route from starting point to the destination, instead it "finds" 10 choices of totally irrelevant routes, and each consists of 3 transports and more than double the traveling time.
