About Expense Manager

Expense Manager is a one stop solution for all your financial needs. Easily view Checking and Credit Card account information. Track Income, Investment & Expenses. All of this without using internet/accessing your account online.

How Expense Manager works: It relies on the SMS alerts that you receive from your bank/credit card account. You have to train Equals once to classify/define SMS alerts.

Equals can then identify all the SMS transactions automatically and display the transactions and categorize each transaction into its respective groups.

- Grouping of transactions can be automated by providing keywords.
- See a Dashboard for all Accounts together and/or by Account and/or by Groups.
- Interactive Charts which has dill-down capabilities.
- 150 + icons to display Groups.
- Expenses can be split into multiple parts.
- Exclude or Include transaction at any time.
- Did not receive an Alert, You can manually add a transaction to the Expense Manager.
- SMS Definition is not Account specific, but Bank specific.
- Accounts can be linked together. Eg. Primary Credit Card can have one or more add-on card cards. These can be represented together.

o Automated grouping into Categories of Income and Expense.
- No Background process.
- Application data is stored on the phone memory only.
- No restrictions on number of accounts managed by the App.
- Transactions that are not yet completed can be entered manually.
- Manual transactions are crosschecked and balance updates are done automatically.
- Two balances are reported if a transaction has been entered manually.
- EMI(s) and Recurring payments can be defined separately for a max period of 24 intervals.
- Account(s) can be marked as “Discarded”.
o These Accounts will be still processed.
o They will not be shown on the main page.
- Application NEVER sends out any information from the device. Internet Permissions are used only for Google services.
- Back-up and Restore available.
- Export Data into Excel.
- Exported Data is stored locally on device and you can specific the Export location.
- Import Historical data previously exported from App.
- Each Transaction can accept an additional comment for future references.
- App can compensate for One transaction which was not received. But will sum of Transaction Values should there be more than One transaction that was not received by the user or was not captured by the App.


Limitations:
- Banking SMS (Short Text Messages) are required. If you do not received transaction alerts from the Bank, Kindly do NOT download this application.
- No Two accounts numbers can be the same.
- Message should not be broken up into multiple parts. (Two messages)
- New messages receives should not be deleted until app is run once.
