Fly with Hivemapper for DJI for Android
why no support for Phantom 3 standard? :((((
It may not be perfect but you guys really figured out what people need to give us so much more control of our flying environment. Well done guys keep up the good work
Doesnt work with DJI standard
This is what b4ufly should have been. Offline maps take there time to load, but well worth the wait!
Hivemapper is easy to use and provides a safer flight for you and your drone, showing you detailed maps with structures and available flight zones. Hivemapper will keep track of your home location, the path of your drone and all the structures around it. It already has millions of structures mapped with their boundaries and heights. For the upcoming Drone-Age, hivemapper will be essential for all drone pilots.
It won't do anything as I tap fly . The fly button is grayed out . I don't know if the app consider my Galaxy note 5 as a tablet +which it isn't ). Basically it is not working and I have tried on on my phantom 3 pro , Inspire1, and phantom 4
This app is my daily driver! The wealth of information available is amazing!
I've been flying uas for over 3 years and this is the first app that's actually made my time in the air safer, and therefore more enjoyable! I now know the height of objects in my vicinity and get on screen alerts when I'm flying dangerously close to obstacles. I love the "above ground" altitude figure (instead of above launch point) which is very useful when flying in hilly terrain and has already saved me a few close calls. I also really like the online interface which I use for ALL my preflight planning.
Awesome app to fly with DJI products. It's great to see real world data being worked into the flying experience including real above ground elevation and even readings for distance to objects like trees and buildings below. If you're keeping your "Launch" height below 400ft to stay legal you're doing it wrong, check out this app now! Be aware that a some locations don't have all this data, particularly the object data, but I'm noticing the coverage grow all the time. Even if you don't fly a DJI product the app is worth a look just for the map. I like to glance at it right before flights with the GO app to see if I'm in a no fly zone or check for power lines and get a basic idea for the terrain.
Last update broke the app
I fly drones professionally, so I have all of the apps, including the really expensive stuff. This is my new go-to app for casual flying. It's a game changer.
Release it for Canada and if you add a version of active track like the p4 you would make the ultimate app.
Love the map, love the building avoidance features - this is the future, now.
Getting better and more useful everyday!
Good app
Trying to use this while in India and it won't let me change the phone number country code prefix.
Hibermapper helps me find interesting places to deploy my drone to. It also helps warn me about dangerous obstacles. Why fly without it?
When you start it for the first time it demands your mobile number to continue - instant uninstall.
Nice!
Useless, unless you fly a phantom 2, 3 or inspire.
