Hitachi SmarTVue Centre

Just bought a Hitachi 50 inch Smart TV and tried mirroring my android phone with the TV using this app. It just keeps throwing error that you are in demo mode. No way to turn off the demo mode. Sincerely hope this gets resolved soon.

With this app I can not send text from phone to tv, it's hugely frustrating as I have use the tv remote for inputting text which is cumbersome and slow. It would be great if this app would work as it should!

Works nicely, which is amazing because the TV itself is crap. The app doesn't distinguish between things that should work but don't, and things that the TV doesn't support. The app itself is bloody huge and needs to have move to SD card enabled. Would be a five-star app then. Incidentally I found this quite by accident as I have never heard of a remote control feature. The EPG needs a much better source. The official EPG gets its data from somewhere, right? Hides the notification drawer which is not good.

I can't see what this app is useful for when everything can be done using the TV remote control (and as it requires WiFi/data it's not helpful, better use an app/phone that supports infrared). And I *hate* the forced letterbox landscape mode, can't see more than a few channels in the TV schedules

It doesn't work, can't stream from phone, dlna error, emailed 8 times asking for help and/or instructions. Recieved no response. Very poor. Installed AllConnect, that works perfectly. SHAME!!

Trying to send photos to the tv to view I get a DLNA error and video well it goes through the motions but nothing ever comes up on the TV!

Don't bother, the app doesn't work. Can't get out of demo mode and that doesn't do anything.

Says leave demo mode. No way of getting out of it. Absolute pathetic app!

App works fine,but the tv is crap,dont understand why its called a smart tv,can do very little on it.apps dont work properly here in ireland.should be able to choose what i want to use here,so all in all i wouldn't tell anybody to buy hitachi smart tv as its more of a dumb tv.

Worked great for ages...than started getting fussy over what it sent to tv. Then it just stayed in demo mode. Shame too. Was a good and useful app.

Sometimes it will not send to tv for no reason. i have a short film to test it, when it plays 80% of the time it will play a film. If it will not play 100% nothing else will. sound working fine no picture apsolutly no reson for this my end just not having it. plus no channel 4 od, come on hitachi i got your tv as tast one i got in 1993 was excellent and lasted until 2014, but i will change if this not sorted.

SmarTVue is rubbish it just stays on demo mode I cannot find my Hitachi smart TV Hitachi brand and software is so bad its only a smart TV because it has Netflix on it I cannot use allcast on it fix the bug

To work with lollipop and will increase rating, it's a 3 star rating cos it is OK on tablet still running jelly bean.

Cannot sync dlna. Won't maintain connection. Galaxy s5. Happy to change rating if fixed.

I'd like to see the new material design elements in your app and some customise settings, keep the updates rolling dev. Thanks
